Amazing coffee! Thanks for keeping us warm on our walk today!

One of my favorite places to sit and work, read, or meet with a friend. There are comfy couches, tables and chairs, and booths. Rotating local artwork on walls. Welcoming to all. No obnoxiously loud music. Good selection of teas and food (not just pastries)-- alongside coffee, of course.

Wrote my thesis here, so I'm somewhat biased, but the atmosphere is cozy, inviting, and relaxed. The coffee is distinctly acidic and has a unique flavor not uncommon to other local cafes. They usually have basic muffins and sandwiches and whatnot although you're better off bringing your own sandwich if you're camping out. Nice, large bookshelf. Free WiFi. Clean and secluded bathrooms. Comfy couches. For a place to read and study this is an ideal location.

I meet friends here for coffee once a week. It is a very congenial place for conversation. Very good drip coffee. Also, they make their own chai and it is spicy, delicious and not too sweet. So great!

Service was horrendous, coffee tasted awful. Nothing more to say.

I love Boiler Room, although I can't go as much as I'd like. My only complaint is they're not open as late as other places! I love their Rooster (Vienna Roast). Cozy, quiet place which is a nice change of pace compared to other busier places like Spyhouse and others. Employees have always been great also. Prices seem to be better than the bigger name places as well.

For price, taste, service, and atmosphere, this is definitely my number one spot for coffee!

Mike, the owner, has made it his mission to “keep it in the neighborhood”. His loyalty to Minneapolis is beautiful and his employees treat everyone with a smile and delicious caffeine. ;)

A tasty selection of light fare, plus lovely coffee/lattes, etc. Friendly, casual staff. The atmosphere was quiet, almost studiously so, but there is a conversation area & booths for groups. This is my go-to destination now when I hit MIA.

The service was quick, the staff was wonderful, the atmosphere was friendly and cozy. I would recommend.😊

Went there in exploration of a non-chained coffee shop in the neighborhood and was charmed with raw simplicity and friendly vibe of a place. Coffee is also good, and iced raspberry white mocha is a seasonal special that I enjoyed most.
