This place is super cute and cozy!, nice seating and overall really great place. Only couple of issues; Pricey tea, and terrible guest service. I purchased ginger tea and paid $3.95 + tip. The brew the tea but one of the baristas gave me attitude when I asked to keep the lose tea in a tea bag. The barista seemed as though she did not want to work here or help at all. They would trash the tea why would they not just put it in a tea bag for me to reuse it. I paid for it. I was embarrassed to go up to the barista and say something because she already gave an attitude at the register. I got the courage to say something about my drink and asked if they could maybe change their policy. One of the baristas was extremely rude and said “it is for quality control.” I know that other coffee shops put their guests first and help them have a great experience at their location, but not this Spyhouse. I had higher expectations for this place but I left disappointed.

I have visited this location for years. Love the crowd and the ambiance. Did not like the price of coffee going up and the size of the cup going down. Nor having to pay full price for a refill. 5.12.18 Parking around here has gotten worse. I visit here less when I am in the Cities because there is no good way to get there.

I ordered a new special drink called Solid Gold and enjoyed every sip of it! Recommend 100%
Of course, the interior is amazing, lots of people working, having friendly conversations. That day I was able to sit outside and enjoy the touch of Spring.
[Solid Gold is a turmeric-ginger oat milk latte sweetened with locally-sourced maple syrup and a touch of cardamom, served with a black pepper garnish.]

This was one of my favorite coffee shops when I lived in Loring Park. I like the general vibe of this Spyhouse location for its warm interior and music selection. You're free to hang out with a group of friends or set up shop at a table for the day. I particularly liked this location for the number of outlets they have at the bar area and every table.
I recommend the Spy Girl from their Specialty Latte drinks, which has lavender and honey.

Great experience. Staff was super friendly, the coffee and jasmine lemonade were really tasty and the cherry tomato danish I had was excellent. Will definitely be back!

Great atmosphere. I love the lights, the windows, the plants. Coffee is great. Wonderful place to spend time alone working, or with a friend catching up. The AC was broken when I was there but they had the windows and doors open.

It's a Spyhouse so you get what you expect: a decent drink at a high price with a side of snobby barista (usually, some are nice, but it's very rare). I miss some of the old drinks that were a bit more unusual (The Mata Hari) and had made it worth the trip. Parking isn't ideal, but it's uptown, so I'm not sure what else you'd expect. All that said, the lattes are great.

Spy House Coffee is top notch. I am very particular about my coffee, and Spy House is one of the very best in the Twin Cities. Although the bags of coffee are not cheap, you can always expect to find coffee that was roasted in the past few days. They make mochas that are fantastic and are only slightly sweet. I really appreciate this as so many coffee shops make mochas disgustingly sweet. The atmosphere and location has a great vibe too. Don't expect a cheap cup of coffee. Get a pour-over or a mocha and know that it will be one of the best you can get.

Not only did they not have any AC on in the middle of summer, but their establishment seems almost like a club where you have to yell over people to have a conversation (the music was incredibly loud), spyhouse prices are too high. And of course, theres almost never anywhere to sit (not their fault of course). I recommend going to sisters sludge coffee if you want to have a quieter experience and much cheaper coffee.

The best coffee in Minneapolis. Their coffee shop almost always has an open spot to sit for work or meeting up with a friend. The staff are also friendly.
