Spyhouse Coffee

They’ve been always really nice. Coffee is always good and pastry suuuper tasty.

You can sit there with your coffee and croissant, book and or laptop and work for hours. No one will bother you, comfy sits. Just mind that this location happen to share the entrance with a hotel lobby. Would love to visit the rest of the other locations for Spyhouse.

Went here to go study for exams, it’s a great environment and has a nice aesthetic, definitely gauged more to younger people. The employees and coffee were great the only complaints that I have is that the coffee shop was very loud and busy and the food was a little pricey.

I and my husband are so impressed with this place. The baristas had an amazing work ethic and were super helpful and friendly. I messed up my order a bit and they exhibited amazing customer service. My oat milk latte had awesome taste and froth, and they do substitute milks for free! The atmosphere was cozy and clean, and the music was actually really nice too. Spyhouse is just awesome in every respect.

Excellent coffee. The cherry-lavender latte is incredible. Friendly and engaging staff. The atmosphere and wood/plant aesthetic make a cozy and warm hangout.

Good atmosphere. Prices too high for mediocre coffee and baked goods.

Also, fun fact about this place: I learned from someone inside the scene of local coffee shop owners that the reason that Spyhouse's internet seems to curiously drop out every now and then (I've encountered this just about every time I've been there for more than a couple hours) is because they intentionally cut it off to cycle people out who have been sitting for a while. Don't want people sitting around for longer than X length of time? Okay, fine but have some integrity and post that intention openly instead of undertaking some rodentine action in secret to accomplish the same goal. In any case, bring your hotspot if you plan on doing work here for a while.

Also still mandating masks-- which maybe there is some articulable reason for doing so (certainly not one that's derived from methodologically rigorous clinical studies FWIW) but taken together with the other issues I'll be going elsewhere at least until I can sit inside without taking a ride in a time machine back to 2020.

Much more laid back college/artist vibe, next to MCAD. Not sparkling clean like the Hennepin posing coffee shop, but comfortably used and loved. Been here a few times, will always enjoy it.

Cool place to grab a cup of coffee and search the internet. Usually a few people in here but always get a table

Try the ginger/turmeric latte it’s simply delightful.

I’m not a normal coffee drinker but the coffee ☕️ here is phenomenal‼️ They do all the crazy designs in your coffee too‼️ It’s an all around good experience...
