FRGMNT Coffee - North Loop

Very spacious sitting area. Nice place to work from. I really liked their bakery items.

The ambiance is unreal. Spacious and still cozy at the same time. The American I got was tasty. I came here to study and there were plenty of outlets available.

The perfect place to go for a poor and lowly graduate student to not feel poor and lowly while they write.

Parking in front is easy if you're willing to pay, but I'm sure there are cheaper parking options around if you want to walk a bit. This coffee shop is part of The Nordic, which houses a variety of food and drink options that can keep you happy the whole day if you plan on spending the day working from here. The interior of the space is very open and airy, with 20ft+ tall ceilings, a massive modern fireplace, and premium materials (woods, cements, fabrics). It seems to be built for workers and students in mind as it has ample seating arrangements and wall length power bars with dozens of outlets. Even at near full capacity, the space promotes the perfect amount of background noise without it ever getting too overwhelming.

Despite the bougie optics, the food and drinks were surprisingly affordable. I was able to snag a creative carrot cake latte AND a fresh croissant for only $10. Both were fantastic. I think this is my new go to for long days of writing.

Conveniently located right next to the North Loop Galley. They have a considerable selection of high quality beans, including beans from Heart coffee from Portland (one of my favorite go-to roasters). The space is swanky and the baristas were welcoming. My only criticism is that the latte I got was too hot to get the good flavors from the milk or espresso and ended up tasting a bit burnt.

Love this coffee shop. Their set up and atmosphere is unique and different than other coffee shops. Their menu is great.

Stopped in with some friends and they had wonderful fun drink recipes! Service was terrific, vibe was wonderful, for sure will be back!

Delicious coffee in a great location. Was filled with people working on a Friday so it was difficult to find a place to just chat over a coffee.

Good coffee, cardigan donuts, a fireplace, and a nice blend of sitting areas and work stations. I would describe the atmosphere as “concrete modern” in a large open space.

Love this newer addition to the coffee shop scene in Minneapolis. The atmosphere is amazing, with a wide variety of seating options that could work for individuals, or groups of people. They recently added blended drinks to their menu and the "Blendie 3" was DELICIOUS. I'll be back and would highly recommend if you're in the area 😊
