I want to live in this place. The atmosphere was everything. The tallest ceilings yet the coziest seating. The decor is a gorgeous mix of plants and mirrors and antiques—that very modern look which is ironically super old looking. I love the seating at the coffee bar too, like it’s an old diner. We had great drinks, although I wish they didn’t come in plastic cups, since we were dining in. Regardless, this is a cute spot. I want to take friends here!

Super cozy and cool coffee shop. Best one so far in the Twin Cities. The decor is very nice. We went on Sunday morning and it was packet. Their selection of coffee and pastries is pretty good. I liked their corn and cheese pie and the almond croissant.

Pastries were fantastic, lots of choices sweet and savory, and THANK YOU for offering to warm them up and eaten as they should be!
Lattes were okay. The miel seemed like it was missing the honey (we usually think they're too sweet, so thinking it's not sweet enough never happens). The seasonal bourbon caramel was really watery, maybe due to the default oat milk, but I usually get oat milk and use it at home and have never had that issue. All the flavor was at the bottom, too, so the top was bland, the middle okay, and the bottom undrinkable.
The space is beautiful (the plants are fake which is understandable, but a let down) and looks comfy, but unless you have a big group you're going to be sitting on couches with other people and it wasn't easy or comfortable for our family. There are also A LOT of dogs. We love dogs and usually the more the merrier, but it's hard to eat at coffee tables (especially with kids) with dogs at the same height.
Staff was awesome and at 9:30am on a Saturday we barely waited. Everyone was friendly and efficient. I think if I was a single Northloop resident I could come enough to find a drink I liked and would cuddle into a smaller spot with a book or laptop, or meet up with another family or two and take over a section like I saw some others do, then I'd be a regular.

Ambiance is very cool. Coffee is good. Staff is kind and calm. Bathrooms were clean and quiet. The Duffy is a cool building!
Line (on a Saturday at 11AM) is looonnng. It’s a small operation, so be prepared to wait. If the line is longer than one row of people, it’ll be ~10 minutes to order and up to 30 additional minutes if you order a specialty coffee drink.
Still a thumbs up for quality of coffee, staff and for using compostable to-go cups!!! 👍🏼

Cool place
An awesome coffee shop for the vibe and the views.
Probably the coffee shop with the tallest ceilings I know of.
I had their green tea while I was here and it was good! Bag tea but still a higher quality tea.
Definitely recommend checking out

Great place to study, hang out, and have some good coffee/food. The entrance is Duffy Lofts and it's not widely displayed on the outside of the building so it's hard to find. It's very popular so the line can be kind of long. There's plenty of seating and the atmosphere is amazing. Highly recommend.

Welcome to the hottest coffee shop in the Twin Cities right now. IT IS BUSY! Arrive early otherwise don't bother if you intend on staying. Every seat is full by 10am on weekends and 11am on weekdays. The line to order is nearly out the door on weekends. The coffee itself is consistently good, and the baristas are really fun. Definitely more of a sit and chat place as some seats do not have table space at all.

The atmosphere was bright, calm, and chill. I really enjoyed all of the natural light that was coming through the large windows. Lots of neat plants and decor to look at. Our coffee drinks were delicious and the staff was friendly. They offered oat milk as a dairy alternative. Lots of seating options were available, and we were lucky to find a spot to sit on a busy Sunday early afternoon. There were many styles of seating options: arm chairs, sofas, small tables, and one large communal table in the center with outlets for phones/computers. The bathrooms were cute and clean. Parking is metered on the street.
Will definitely be back and bring my family here when they visit from out of town!

I love this coffee shop! How I explained it to my husband: “vibes”—and I wasn’t wrong. Vibes all around 😎. I got the peaches and cream latte which is deeeffffinitely sweet—so great for people who like that! I didn’t love it, but still 5 stars from me because I’ve had just an oat milk latte before and can say they serve the ✨best✨ oat milk latte in the metro. Highly recommend!

I was really impressed with my first visit. I’d highly recommend it for the ambiance, great back coffee and excellent customer service. I asked for a butter croissant and the barista recommended heating it up, it was better than a local bakery!
It’s a great place to work or study, but even better place to come and visit or play a game of cribbage as we did. This is going to be a hot spot all through the winter!
