Dogwood Coffee - East Lake

UPDATE - Dogwood continues to be absolutely the best. Their neon Espresso is fantastic! ORIGINAL REVIEW - In my opinion, Dogwood has the best black coffee and espresso in the cities. I point all coffee lovers here and always hear good reviews.

Great coffee, solid pastries, and beer. Modern euro-style ambience. Booths have outlets and lamps. Perfect for getting work done. And Hymies Records is a block away if one needs to take a break from working for some creative inspiration.

Excellent core coffee drinks (espresso, cappuccino, nitro cold brew). Even the drinks which are outside of my normal coffee range (read: adulterated, flavored) are well crafted, balanced beverages. The lines can be cumbersome at peak hours. However, I have never waited too long, and it is worth it.

Cute coffee shop and delicious coffee! I don't remember what I ordered, but I remember staring at the menu for a few minutes having a hard time deciding. I stopped in to work for a couple hours, and loved the setup of the space. I will be returning next time I'm out of the home office!

Spyhouse better watch out. Dogwood serves a cup that is equal to the quality of theirs! Definitely the best cup I've had south of downtown and east of 35. This is a big place with a nice quiet reading section.

This place is great! I spend a good amount of time here doing work or just enjoying the morning. Comfortable cool place, and has some nice outdoor seating. The drinks are awesome and the staff is solid and friendly!

I had the pour over coffee. It was probably one of the best cups of coffee I have ever had. Nice space to do some work or read.

Love meeting people here for coffee in the morning! The staff are always super friendly and they have some great options if you don't like coffee. Its a great neighborhood stop! Check it out.
