SK Coffee is a hidden gem. It's been on our list to try for awhile now and we finally visited to find that it was even better than we expected. When it comes to coffee, I'm pretty straightforward. Give me a bold dark roast with a splash of almond milk and I'm a happy camper. I thought their coffee was excellent, but the ambiance of the space and the building really makes SK Coffee a standout in my book. SK Coffee is located in the Vandalia Tower in Saint Paul and the main floor is open, airy and spacious. Not to mention all of the beautiful, tropical plants and greenery surrounding the coffee bar! If you're not familiar, Vandalia Tower is a former King Koil mattress factory and the industrial vibe is still strong throughout the building, now with a mix of modern artwork and installations. The founder/head roaster of SK, Sam, was behind the bar that day and he was very knowledgable and fun to talk with. Highly recommended and while you're in the area you can visit Lake Monster Brewing and North Made Co after enjoying your SK coffee!

Love this place. This coffeeshop always has a pleasant atmosphere. The staff are very knowledgeable and excited about their craft, which shows in the product. We used to have our beans delivered from Portland, but have stopped for a while since SK Coffee appeared. Now we're getting our beans almost exclusively from here! Bear in mind that if you are a latte lover like me, they do lattes a bit differently in how they mix the milk. Also, they have donuts and some other baked goods available.

Fun coffee shop in a warehouse in St Paul. I wasn’t expecting it to be in the lobby of the warehouse so it didn’t have the coziest feel but there were plants everywhere and it was calm and there were enough tables and chairs to work at for everyone! And a wall of plug ins and free wifi.
The miel (honey latte) was so good and smooth and they didn’t charge extra for oat milk. They also had pastry options and sell bags of coffee.
It’s right across from Lake Monster Brewing company so you can head over there for a drink after! And there was a Thai food truck outside when I was there on a Tuesday evening.

This place is as amazing as all the gorgeous real plants everywhere! (I don't even like coffee!) The owner was incredibly knowledgeable, helpful & patient. The ambiance is super cool and I had a lovely time there with my friend on a lazy Sunday morning.

The coffee is strong and on the bitter side but on point. Has a lovely open space to sit and chat or work with immaculate vibes. Plenty of seating. There was a curry lentil roll available and was super tasty. Note that oat milk is the only alternative milk available.

Good classic coffees and teas. It's what I'd call a "destination coffee shop" Not the local shop that you'd drive by or walk to. Nothing wrong with that. Dogwood in NE is similar. A place you go to and hang out. Tucked in the Vandalia Tower complex. Only signage on the Street is a little coffee sign. So you have to really want to go to SK to find it. Good classic coffees and teas, not a lot of foofoo stuff. And they are roasters and that is usually a good omen. Big, airy, industrial interior. Parking lot was packed in the morning, and there are a lot of other businesses in this complex. Good place for coffee and to hang out.

SK has become my new favorite coffee shop in Saint Paul (amongst tough competition!). The coffee is amazing -- so much so that I buy at least one bag every time I visit, often two to gift to a friend or family member. The staff are some of the most friendly and personable I've ever encountered, and the founders Sam and Nate are so deeply dedicated to their craft. And the atmosphere is great -- awesome space to get some work done or meet a friend or colleague.

An awesome cafe with some amazing coffee! The space is really cool, the staff are friendly, and the coffee tastes great. They'll even give you a tour of where they roast their coffee if you email in advance - Sam gives a thorough and entertaining explanation of the process. If you're looking for a neat coffee shop to visit, this is the place.

I like this place.
I was a bit confused trying to find it, because there isn't much signage and I am unfamiliar with the area.
Its very asthetically pleasing, and the coffee and pastries are delicious.
I want to come back when it's nice outside and take advantage of the beautiful outdoor space.
Staff was nice and welcoming as well.

It's a hidden gem in a gorgeous warehouse building! I had no idea the building was renovated because there's no signs on the exit from 94, but there's a big parking lot off the street shared by Lake Monster brewing. Huge windows with lots of light and plants everywhere. It's just in the lobby to the building so it's very open with two big tables and a counter with plug ins to work at. Most spots were filled from 10am-noon. Even with no walls, it's very quiet and peaceful. The wifi signal was strong and great for working there.
The miel was incredible and oat milk was no upcharge. They had a limited coffee menu with a spiced latte as the only syrup option that I saw. The barista was super nice. There was a pastry case with a few options that looked amazing. It's very pricey for a coffee but it's a cool shop to try!
