Dogwood Coffee - East Lake

The best coffee in the twin cities hands down! Splurge and get a pour over to treat yourself to some of the most flavorful coffee you have ever had. Trust me - you will NOT be disappointed!!

Great coffee and nice baristas! They’re currently socially distancing inside as most restaurants are. Easy to get a table inside during the week.

The Buddha said to live is to suffer. But, oh boy, this place makes me forget all about that. I stop in for a quick to-go cup frequently, and because they're close, I occasionally go in to relax and enjoy a pastry and friendly service along with a cup of what I think is the best coffee in town.

I was under the impression that this café would be a fun combination of coffee and throwing wooden sticks for dogs to fetch. I was sadly mistaken. It is BYODAWS (bring your own dog and wooden stick), as every other coffee shop in Minneapolis is. Oh well. Coffee is amazing though, I’d recommend it to anyone.

Holy crap is this coffee gold?!? Cause that's what the prices feel like and after buying 12oz of the Costa Rica for my at home caffeinated enjoyment, it hasn't quite lived up to the $17 expectation. Maybe I'm using too much water and trying to stretch these little beans for all their worth, or maybe these beans don't have the punch I paid for. That was my first and last time visiting this cozy little over priced joint.

Lovely little space to munch on a tasty croissant and sip on a quality filter coffee.

Such a cool local joint. Has an unpretentious vibe to it. So many coffee shops have a vibe of trying too hard. I would say this one is an exception. The cozy booth nooks are a cool touch.

I assumed once might be a fluke but--for the second day in a row--my to-go cup from Dogwood starting leaking at its seam. Coffee began to drip faster and faster down my hand and arm.

I hope that Dogwood will choose to alter either (1) their use of this particular cup, or (2) the temperatures at which they serve coffee in this cup. It would be great if I could drink the coffee I paid for instead of watching it leak and drip away wastefully.

Great coffee roasters on the light side. Dogwood raises the bar for other roasters. The first time I made it at home, all my other coffee went into the trash.

Strong wifi, nice seating, lots of plugins too to charge your laptop! Friendly staff as well.
