Shout out to the Chef/co-owner. Two friends and I just attended the last Sat tea of the season. The restaurant was nearly full and it appeared everyone else was enjoying the experience, too. We were served several courses at a pace that allowed us to enjoy each food. At the end of the meal the Chef stopped by each table, asking our favorite/least favorite food. That action really impressed me, especially since I recently had a horrible experience at another venue and the owner wasn't interested in what I had to say about anything. Thank you, Chef, for the creative, delicious array of foods. Enjoy your winter and we will look forward to your opening in the Spring.

We checked Google this morning, & it said it was open. We drove from St. Paul/Minneapolis to find it closed. They should have updated their Web site so we would have known. Very disappointing!

We were here a year ago, and we loved it. This time the waitress sat us where a group of women were having a meeting. We couldn't hear each other talk. So disappointed! We will try it again next time we get down that way. Hopefully they have the good cook back, and we will ask to be moved, if we get seated by a bunch of loud people.

Went for Sunday brunch. Service was quick. Very unique all you can eat brunch only setup on Sundays. Food was great and we enjoyed everything.

Homestyle cooking in a quaint home atmosphere in Lake City. You won't receive gargantuan portions here, but just what you need. The food and service are excellent. We tried the Meatloaf Muffin and the Thai Coconut Curry Shrimp. Both were very good and tasted home-made, not frozen. There's a lovely garden out front and back. This place is popular with the ladies.

Darling place! So very cute from the outside and inside! The staff is incredibly friendly and kind, and they were very friendly to our group with kids. There is a little shop inside with all kinds of treasures. The food was delicious! I had biscuits and hash browns and they were on point. Everyone in our group enjoyed what they ordered. We will definitely be back the next time we are in Lake City!

Amazing food! The staff was wonderful, but they tended to not be able to keep up with the event I was attending. It was the first of the season however, and their customer service skills completely made up for it and then some!

Omg! Just can't! This solidly built craftsman style home turned restaurant cottage is oozing with the charm of by-gone days. From the decidedly English country pallette to the yummy home made baked goods (like cinnamon rolls and scones) you won't be disappointed by the experience or the flavors! They even have GF options available. Charming Chickadee has cozy rooms, delicious food and sweet one-of-a-kind gifts for sale. So much (lovely perennial gardens) to look at in the outdoor seating spaces too...there's a spot for everyone! 5 Stars for 5 years in business! Great job Chickadee đź‘Ź

An absolute must! I have passed by this little gem for years and finally stopped. Exquisite staff, especially Deb... food exceeded expectations. Healthy choices. Fresh. I had the salmon asparagus quiche....so yummy!

My favorite place to go for lunch in Lake City. And now with COVID they have nice tables set up outside which was wonderful! I didn't mind that the city has all the construction because it made sitting outside even more enjoyable...no traffic noise! We had the turkey asparagus melt on cranberry wild rice bread....inctedible! And a nicely tart refreshing slice of key lime pie! Perfect!
