Chickadee Cottage Cafe

This seasonal eatery is my joint first place to eat in Lake City. Lovely staff. Great, home cooked food. Delicious bakery products. Gifts galore. Definitely a place to go. If you don't, your loss.

Disappointed. We have eaten here in the past and it was really good.
We asked for two different beverages and they were out of both. Sunday is "buffet" style" but you get what they want. No choice. It's a cinnamon roll, fruit, eggs, hash browns, ham and pork sausage. We got the rolls and fruit but no napkins. We got the eggs, hash browns and meat but no utensils. I have not eaten beef/pork since 2000 so I was really restricted on what I ate.

A nice, cozy place to get a meal. We went in fall and the menu was full of seasonal items, including a Pork Sandwich with Apple BBQ sauce, and about a dozen more options. Service was impressively quick, and the dining room filled up quickly. Seems like a popular place.

Great place. Well worth the time navigating the construction to get there. Food and service was served to large portions. Biggest and tastiest pancakes I've ever seen.

We had the family style breakfast and it was amazing. Loved the wild rice sausage and the potatoes. Would recommend stopping here as its something I could eat every day (but probably shouldn't).

A nice little place to eat in Lake City. Good food and cute atmosphere. We've been there many times before and wouldn't go back again if it wasn't really good. We'll definitely be back again. Stop there. You'll be glad you did.

I absolutely love this adorable cafe! Cute lil store with thoughtful gifts, candy, and baked goods. I had the American breakfast with a gluten free pancake and a side of hollandaise. Terrific breakfast made to perfection. The Chickadee Cafe is ran by a young gal and her fiance and she's worked there since her teens. She sweet, very personable, and knows her stuff! I will be back.... probably tomorrow. Also, Gluten free and vegan here! This was a wonderful surprise for me I'm gf!

We love the food and the friendly staff. We make it a point to always pass through Lake City at lunch time so we can eat here! Everything on the menu is delicious!

Stopped by while driving through town. Glad I did. Breakfast was super. Had the brunch plate. So good. Staff was so nice. Definitely stop again next time

I've never had a bad experience here. Super friendly staff, awesome food (especially the meatloaf), and it's located in such a beautiful town. Definitely stop there next time you get a chance.
