Great place. Coffee, tea, smoothies, baked goods, sandwiches, salads and much more. Open Friday thru Sunday 7 am to 2 pm. Lots of seating and space to hang out. Area with books and games. Downtown Lake city.
Once a cafe now a coffeehouse operating on a 3 day weekend schedule offering freshly brewed coffee, selective bakery items and a limited menu of breakfast fare and sandwiches. First come, first serve based and when items are gone they are gone. Quaint little shop with indoor seating in a nicely decorated, comfortable nooks and a couple tables outdoors. We enjoyed the tasty egg bake, double chocolate cookie and coffee. Staff were friendly and personable.
We just visited for the first time. One word… AMAZING!!!! The staff are warm and inviting, the drinks are great, and the food is next level! We loved everything and can’t wait to stop again.
This coffeehouse has to be the BEST Coffeehouse I’ve been to. The inside is beautiful its a very relaxing environment inside that you have to experience for yourself. The employees are great, very nice people. I stoped in more then once and received the same great service. Lastly my favorite part of the place is all the home made pastries. My favorite was the chocolate croissant it was perfect. We were told the owner stays late and make them all herself!
This is such a wonderful little coffee house! The decor inside is rustic and classic! You feel so cozy and warm sipping away at your favorite type of coffee, mocha, cappuccino or whatever other fancy or non fancy coffee drink you may be having. The treats and sandwiches are something to talk about for days! Wow factor! The flavors are amazing! There is also outdoor seating...but when you step inside and are swooped by the inner part of the cafe's rustic decor and warmth, it will be a hard decision point to make where you will want to sit to enjoy your delicious drink and savory treat. Enjoy! A+++
Favorite little place in Lake City. I go whenever I'm in town getting my car serviced. Quick and easy walk from Heffernan. Friendly staff, and the CUTEST atmosphere. Seriously, don't miss this place
Rustic is unlike any other coffee shop I’ve been to. The owners, Ronnie and Diane, put so much love and effort into the decor, the types of products they sell, the friendly atmosphere, and treating their workers wonderfully (I know from experience 😉). I appreciate the message of the coffee we sell, organic and fair trade coffee so you’re served the best coffee and you know that everyone who has worked on it, from the farmer to the barista, is getting paid fairly. Rustic makes sure you get the drink you want, the baristas always make it how you ask for it. The food and pastries are are handcrafted everyday by our wonderful chef, Tana, and it genuinely reminds me of a European bakery! You have to come in and try a drink and a treat, you won’t regret it!
I came for good coffee. La Cimbali espresso machine✔️, Mazzer grinders✔️, good ambiance✔️, great reviews, nice friendly service✔️, beautiful location right on the water✔️. But I left with mediocre to bad coffee. 95% of the reason is that the beans used were shiny, oily, dark, burnt (think charcoal), fresh or stale not sure, but that doesn't matter, you can't have beans that are already ruined and expect to make good coffee. So as a consult, use light to medium roast (at most) and freshly roasted beans (you should know the roasted date and if your supplier doesn't have it don't use them). I really do think this shop could be great, and it is for ambiance, decor, cozy nooks to talk, great friendly service, obviously they have invested a good deal of money in their brewing equipment, but I came only for good coffee and I left without it.
We loved this cafe! Wonderful service, treats, ambiance, and lattes. My now fiancé asked the owner Diane if we could buy this dog photo from her, hanging up in the cafe, because it was so darn cute. My fiancé then took her aside and said “hey I’m proposing to this girl in 20 minutes at the marina, I’ll buy it for any price.” She was happy to sell it for a small price, we left with our lattes, and I was engaged 20 minutes later! We came back the next day and thanked them all for being part of the experience. Needless to say, we love this place.
