Biggby Coffee

I often get an iced caramel coffee with a tiny amount of cream during my lunch break. It's the perfect pick-me-up since my mornings are long and often stressful. The coffee itself is perfect because the flavor is strong enough to where you can taste it, but not so strong to where you taste chemicals like most places. Also, it's subtle enough to where you taste more of the coffee. Between this location and the Roseville one, this is my favorite Biggby and the one I frequent the most.

I wish I would have noticed all the flies before I paid for my coffee. Unfortunately they we're near the counter where you pick up your drink and not where you pay. The service was okay but the flies made the place unbearable. On top of that I'm pretty confident the "sangria" tea I bought was old because it tasted and smelled like rotting fruit.

Dec.2, 2019. Stood at the counter, a kid came out not in any kind of uniform and instead of welcoming me into the store or asking what I'd like, he just stared at me as if to communicate telepathically. I asked for my usual 24oz coffee, one espresso shot in the cup and one espresso shot on the side. He looked at me confused, I asked if that was possible, he said yes. So the barista followed the order he put in and gave me one shot of espresso by itself. Great, so I had to ask for the cup minus the 2nd shot. To the person who took my order at 10:10am, I suggest you take a class in at least entry level customer service, put on a uniform and try to have an understanding of your customer base in the morning. The barista was great but appeared annoyed for the same reason that I wrote this review, incompetence.

The employees should be careful with what they serve people. My Americano tasted like someone literally put some sort of cleaning product in it. I choked from coughing it up and spitting it out. Ill never forget that taste in my mouth.

Received a coupon in the mail for a 99 cent latte. Typically get plain coffee from Biggby and it's usually great however this location does not accept coupons. Last month, I received a coupon (again in the mail) for 50% off a bagel sandwich which I get all the time. Anyway they stated they dont take these 99 cent or the free coupons. So much for a sale today, I wanted to order a few drinks for family on my way and figured I'd try a new drink for 99 cents. Won't go here again. Don't really know how Biggby makes any money. They are always empty in the suburbs unlike any Starbucks location anywhere in this area.

Stopped in to have a sandwich and coffee in between appointments. Was surprised to find so many handwritten signs. The first was on the front door that said please use other door with an arrow pointing. Other door was broke. The next sign I seen was on the restroom door said out of service please use other restroom. Went in the other restroom and found another sign on the toilet paper roll that said "please do not flush toilet paper in toilet bowl". Sounds like there's a few plumbing problems going on. The next sign I saw was by the coffee. It said "no refills"!!! Every other Biggby I've visited has free refills. After my sandwich was finished she put it on the side buy the coffee pourers. She never told me it was ready. I waited a while .. she finally said my my sandwich was ready and pointed. Looks like this location is having problems. My advice, go to the next nearest coffee shop.

I went on my birthday to get my free birthday drink and the workers gave me wrong information that resulted in me not being able to get my birthday drink. I was quite upset to find this out when I called customer service.

Edit: Since I can't reply to the comment below. I did have an offer which was why I was eventually able to get the birthday drink AFTER being told the wrong information at the location and calling customer service.

Biggby's has the BEST coffee in Michigan! They always have a friendly and energetic staff, and try to make the clients smile during their visit. Sign up for their rewards cards -- every 13th drink is free! I enjoy the Frozen Mint Mocha the best!

It smells good and I love the hot chocolate with zip

The customer service wasn’t great or professional. And the employee said that they don’t honor the bogo or any free coupon from Biggby. When I asked if that was from all the stores he shrugged and laughed, and when asked about the manager he just went back to doing something else. I’ve never had a problem with any other Biggby, but I guess this will be one I won’t be returning to.
