Overall we were satisfied but the employees that were responsible for preparing the kayaks and life jackets should recieve a little more training. They just gave us life jackets and our kayaks and shoved us off. I felt rushed and they expected evwryone to know how to adjust life jackets for a proper fit. Also recieved no instructions on how to adjust foot rests and seats to comfortably fit the rider

Very professional and helpful. They we're knowledgeable and informative regarding the weather and water conditions. I was warned that day that the waters were rough and it was not a day for inexperienced kayakers. I kayaked Turnip Rock anyway and had a blast. The only reason I didn't give 5 stars is because the oar/paddle that I had for my kayak was damaged & bend inwards in the left side. After kayaking for 3+ hours I developed a gnarly blister on my left thumb from the weird rubbing on the surface of the bent oar. They should be checking their equipment daily. Other than that I had a wonderful experience.

Although, Turnip Rock is a beautiful natural resource, think hard before going kayaking there! No where to stop, rest, snack and enjoy the scenery!
Our experience was terrible due to the fact that our kayaks did not have the foot rests! This made kayaking against the waves extremely difficult. We asked many other kayakers if they had them and they did. We should've been asked if we had a preference!! No partial refund or even apology upon return.

Had a great experience. My original reservation was cancelled due to high wind (thanks for looking out for our safety first!). I was offered a FULL REFUND or chance to reschedule for the NEXT DAY. I took the next-day option and was paddling by 10am. 3rd time to Turnip Rock from PAK and it gets better and more organized every time. 10/10 must do adventure

The kayak trip to turnip rock was fun. They won't let you go if waves are high so check the forecast before making the drive. The patio has table service and backyard games. Very busy and a little understaffed.

The equipment and staff were nice. The staff needs to be more clear about the route if it is an out and back or from one point to another.

Most beautiful day (almost 90 degrees, sunny and less than 10mph winds) and they wouldn't let people kayak due to "strong winds". You are required to sign waivers that are apparently not good enough for people to go out on the water. 4 attempts of visiting Turnip Rock, 4 letdowns for the same reason.

Excellent customer service, reasonable pricing, and overall just a fantastic experience. I would absolutely rent from them again.

Avoid this company! This has been our second attempt to rent a kayak here after driving 2 hours one way each time. Today they promised us a rental and canceled on us after making us wait for over an hour. I would not come again without bringing my own kayak.
