River Stop Cafe

Stopped on the way to Baldwin blessing of the bikes, the food and service here was awesome!!! I'd gladly drive the 90 miles just to have breakfast or lunch again!!

It was a little pricey for breakfast but very nice. Great atmosphere. Friendly service. And great food. Love the quiche.

This restaurant is amazing. Came back on the way from Michigan Adventure, and after dealing with snobby teenagers working filthy food stands, this hit the spot. Sat outside and had beautiful view, and there was a live jazz player that was awesome. Had the special soup of the day, tomato and spinach, and even on a 90 degree day tasted great. Also had the garden burger, (I should not have poured the spicy mayo all over it, it was a little too spicy for me) but was lovely as well.
Waiteress was fast and nice, food was some of the best I've ever had, and it was all around 5 stars.
Come here if you have the chance, you won't regret :)

Nice off the side location. Decor was loaded with stained Wood and music was blues/jazzy. Very pleased with the food. Nothing fancy but hit the spot after a nice river float. The coffee is Grrrreat!

Great food! After stopping at the local micro brewery and being disappointed with their menu we strolled into the River Stop Cafe. The menu was creative and fun. So many choices between breakfast or lunch foods. I chose a Philly panini. It was outstanding a great mix of veggies and sauce with outstanding flavor. My wife was very happy with her vegan selection too. Coffee & Chai tea were tasty as well (I could have had a refill on my coffee). The bake goods looked Amazing, I went for the chocolate cherry cheesecake muffin and throughly enjoyed ever bite.
I did notice customers entering without masks but they are told to assume to respect their HIPA rights. Everyone has different levels of comfort with Covid. Please do not let this stop you from this hidden gem.

Mexi burrito was tasty and well constructed.

The chicken pot pie was awesome. The smoked brisket sandwich and Ham and green apple press we both great too. Nice atmosphere and quick service. We will return.

One of my all-time favorite places to go, hands down. Even when I'm away at home in the UP, I find myself craving River Stop. I always go when I'm visiting and absolutely love it. The atmsophere, the food, the drinks, the coffee, the desserts, and the staff! Love it. It's a treasured place to me.

Excellent breakfast and coffee

Great little place. Ceasar wrap to go was in a nice box with some slaw and tortilla chips. Definitely and big step up from my normal traveling lunch. Bar was nice also. Wish I lived closer.
