Awesome place good coffee and food

I went in grabbed a menu while waiting for the rest of my party. Decided what we all wanted. Went in to order, we were asked if we wanted to eat inside or out. We stated out and were told to go ahead and someone would be with us shortly. Half an hour later no one had come out and people that came after us were being waited on. I had gone in after 25 or so minutes to use restroom, waited at order sign to ask. Nothing
I was excited to try their fare....I also usually tip 20% so too bad that will go to someone else.

Food was really good, especially being that I am a very picky eater. Service was ok. Older waitress couldn't read her writing or remember the nightly specials. After food was delivered, she never came back to check on drinks or more water. We had to go up to counter and ask for more water. We ended up being there over 2 hours and no offer of refills. She only came up to us (to give us our bills) when one of the people stood up.

I am mixed about this place. It's a great atmosphere with good coffee and alright food. But the last time I was in, this older lady at the register was super rude. I even mentioned something to the girl that took over. It's pretty simple to be nice to people, especially if the customer is being nice to you. I most likely will return but if I see her, I'm running the other way!

I'm in love with this place! I live 3 hours away from it, but I go at least once a year to drink their super tasty beer and sit on their patio full of home grown veggies! The staff is friendly and knowledgeable, the building is old and quaint, and the food and drink is unique and delicious! I'll be taking a camping trip to Manistee in 3 days and I CAN'T WAIT TO STOP IN!!!

All of the staff are amazing. I always get a chai or iced vanilla latte and Haley makes it perfect every time. She’s an awesome server with an awesome attitude.

Super friendly staff, excellent food, laid back environment. Excellent place to relax and enjoy friends or just drink a coffee and read on your own. Loved it.
