Upon recommendation I tried the Sleeping Bear mocha. Absolutely incredible! Atmosphere is very fun, copper table tops and outdoor seating. Can't wait to have an excuse to bring someone with me next time I am in Kalamazoo!

Great coffee and light eats. Water Street Coffee Joint is the first place I stop when arriving in Kalamazoo. There is a small section of patio seating on the side that usually has seats available. Parking is very limited so you may have park down the block.

This is my go to cafe in Kalamazoo. They have 3 different locations and all of them have certain things that set them apart from one another but all have the same atmosphere. Only a few blocks from the metro transot station so you have a close option that isn't McDonalds. The staff is friendly and you can get ice cubes made of coffee. Definitely a great place to go.

The espresso was great, not to bitter and very flavourful. Only gripe is it's a bit small and as others have said the internet is quite spotty despite a strong connection. I would definitely come back!

Coffe: I like my coffee quite strong, if you do too then invest into double shot drinks. The flavors of the regular shots are tasty but a tad mild.
Spicy Chai latte: 0/5 not spicy enough, very sad it was so bland I can't imagine what the regular one taste like.
Muffins: I have had some of the desserts, the muffins are a bit overly sweet with too much frosting that's a bit too thick and not creamy.
Cookies: specially the gluten free brownie and the chocolate sun-dried, they have a lovely crumble, the sun-dried chocolate cookie has a spicy punch not strong but just rigth! And a very warm taste, the brownie one actually feels and taste like brownie, with a tad of powder sugar the sweetness is just on point. All the other more generic cookies are good as well.
Environment: I think of this place as a nice morning stop or a wonderful warm snack after a long day at work. People are polite enough to keep their voice tones low and everyone in their computers use earbuds

I want this to be my favorite WSCJ location but it isn’t. Don’t get me wrong, it’s a lovely location and the staff are always very nice. I dig the repurposed location and it’s a solid downtown anchor location I appreciate. It just always seems to be too small (for seating), too slow on service (it’s popular) and not enough parking (in their tiny lot). It’s very good and I encourage people to patronize WSCJ, it’s just not my favorite location.

Brought my mom here last week to try their iced peach tea, and she loved it!! I also bought iced coffee and a bag of sumatra coffee, all of which I already knew were top notch! Waterstreet will forever be my favorite coffee shop!

Good coffee. Good atmosphere. Small parking lot.
