I visited from out of town. They have GREAT coffee and service and beautiful floral displays to enjoy while you sip your coffee.
I had a decaf almond flavored latte with coconut milk. They did a great job of frothing a non dairy milk and I appreciated that their decaf was Swiss water process. My son got a natural processed coffee which I never heard of so they explained the process for how those were made and flavor wise how they differ (more fruity) than traditionally processed coffee. Great people.

Water Street is probably one of the best known places in Kalamazoo to get coffee and there is a reason why. Their downtown location is small and cozy with a wide variety of drinks and snacks to chose from. They are vegan and vegetarian friendly and offer wonderful non-dairy options, and there is something there for everyone! Parking is limited in their small parking lot but there is plenty of parking in the surrounding area so don't let that deter you from a great cup of coffee (they also offer drive thru options and some of their other locations). Overall, delicious coffee and great atmosphere! Highly recommend.

The coffee was excellent. I had the French toast which was not overly strong. The staff was extremely friendly

The coffee is terrific and the staff is very friendly. A great place to get some coffee and a snack.

Always love water street for the kind staff who are willing to offer recommendations, the fresh, interesting food, and of course great coffee, as well as the cute and inviting atmosphere. I sat outside and there was an employee restraining the wood planter facade, which was nice to see the place is well cared for.

I love Water St Coffee Joint. They have a great selection of quality coffee, teas, and food while also having a great atmosphere and a friendly staff. Two main cons for me tho, limited parking and Internet accessibility. I love studying here and will hang out for hours but every time I come the Internet is always variable. It's frustrating that my favorite hang out and study location in town can be so difficult to do work at sometimes. Otherwise Water St is a wonderful place.

Had a great cup of coffee. One if the only places open in Kalamazoo at 6:30 in the morning.

Went in, told the ladies I like Mochas and love dark roast coffees but commercial places make them too sweet! Informed me they use dark chocolate and can try it with less syrup and an extra shot. I get extra shots with commercial and still too sweet HOWEVER the dark chocolate intrigued me so I tried it. Perfect! 👌🏾

Coffee is not bad, but not great either, from a traveler perspective (though I haven't had better in Kalamazoo yet). Food was pretty disappointing. Nice space though, nestled in between two big roads, and friendly people. It's been here a while so it's fairly well established.

Water Street never disappoints, and their "new" (it's been around for a while now) bourbon barrel aged cold brew (with a bang! - coffee ice cubes) is pretty good. Over the years the coffee at Water Street has gotten progressively more and more burnt/bitter (trying to have a more Starbucks-y flavor profile) to keep up with changing tastes. The cold brew reverses that trend by a good few years, although the coffee-cubes they use are still the regular hot brewed coffee made in to ice cubes, and as a result super bitter. The baked good offerings have gotten simpler over the years, but consistency has improved dramatically.
