Shell of it's old self.

Spent hours learning life lessons and studying here and now it's a cookie cutter kitschke coffee shop.

No one rolling loosies; wiccans next to christians next to homeless next to millionaires. This used to be the only place I've ever been where everyone was truly welcome no matter their color or beliefs. Now, well, I hope you like the color teal, emo wannabe music, and an experience you'll soon forget.

In the words of Martin Blank: You can never go home again... but I guess you can shop there

I graduated from WMU in December of 2012 and 4th Coast was one of my main study spots for almost six years. I live in A2 now and every time I pass Kzoo I always stop in for my vanilla latte. This place is just as good as I remember it every time. I hold a lot of good memories and nostalgia here. Keep on doing what you’re doing 4th Coast.

Nice little coffee shop. Had a good latte. Not much in the way of breakfast foods, but definitely worth stopping here for a morning pick me up!

My favorite kalamazoo coffee shop, the staff are great and they know their espresso drinks! I also love the seasonal drinks and food items they have to offer.

The very first drink I had at 4th Coast was their witches brew, which is steeping chai tea with hot apple cider. That was delicious. For my next visit I wanted to try their coffee. I was disappointed.

Hip, friendly 24 hour coffee shop. There's a restaurant upstairs as well, though I'm only reviewing the coffee shop. Wooden floors, tin & wood ceiling, plus a duct. Local art on the walls. 10 or so tables, plus two bars. Tons of outlets. Free wi-fi with password. Bulletin board of fliers for music and community events. Vaguely alternative rock at reasonable volume on the audio. Chai is from a box, but there's a decent (if slightly harsh) loose leaf chai. Good selection of loose leaf teas, and substantial selection of interesting pastries. I was there for an hour and half starting around midnight (between Friday and Saturday) and there were anywhere from a half dozen to a dozen night owls talking or working.

4th Coast is more than a coffee house, it's an institution. It's where I met my friends in high school, pulled all-nighters in college studying and talking. I met my husband there! They've made a lot of improvements to the interior over the past few years.

I used to spend every night here in my early twenties playing spades, and now I'm in my late thirties and stopping almost every morning on my way to work! Top three coffee places in town include Forth Coast in my book.

Great place to study stay up at night great coffee with so many options vegetarian or not this is an epic place to just sit down relax and enjoy your coffee chess board and many plugs for your electronic devices everytime I come to see my daughter trust and believe this is a stop for myself or if I'm in a relationship she's coming to lol

Their baked goods are fantastic and that young man named Russ is very cute. The liquids are also both hot and cold depending on what you get.
