Napoleon Cafe

This place has gone down in the years, i been going here for at least 50 years. Did a take out, because of covid, of sausage and gravy biscuts, and a extra sausage patty. 8 dollars, got 1 biscut, very little gravy and had no taste , patty was burnt or over cooked. Before i got the order, someone else wsd complaining about the food and service. He told me after i ordered that the sausage and gravy was worse than it ever had been. There are favorite foods there , but after the take out, ill wait to see if it gets better ratings. The pies , years ago were famous and crust great, now not so much. Place needs to be clean up, showing its age.

Same owner for 25 years and the food and dessert were great. Will go back again

At 5:30 pm, Wednesday , my daughter and I ordered steaks. Both were ordered med rare, they both came out rare. My eggs were ordered over easy, they came out hard. When the cook was questioned my staying local. he said something to effect that I didn't kw what I was talking about. So much

Standard American food. Friends who were with us say the meat servings are getting skimpy. Good service today

Excellent mom and pop style restraunt. Great for kids and good breakfast. We had a larger group and got the cafe breakfast, corn beef hash, chicken fried steak, pancakes, french toast, both kinds of potatoes, and sausage gravy. It was all tasty. If available order the pecan or cinnamon rolls, they are fantastic!

Needs new owners. There used to be line whenever we went, not so any more. Service is slow, rather the kitchen is slow. The waitresses do their best, but their tops must be lower that in the past. The food preparation is not consistent, in quality or presentation.

I love this place, you feel like you are home. The food is very good 💕💕.

Great little hometown dinner with great pies!!!

We have eaten here many times and always had good food and service. This past time we ended up leaving after 10 minutes of sitting at our table not even being acknowledged after the waitress watched us sit down. Two tables that came in after us were served drinks before we even had a waitress come over. The couple behind us said that had been there an hour and they did not have food yet. I don't know if we were in a bad section that night or what, but we will think twice before going there again.

Very slow service, but it was the weekend of Faster Horses. Still feeling that they knew this festival was going to happen ahead and should have been prepared for it, but they weren't. We waited over 30 minutes to be waited on and then another 30 minutes to get our food. We watched people leave who were there longer. The food was not worth the wait and our waitresses dirty nails were a real turn-off. Not going to be a return customer!
