The food was good but the service has a lot to be desired. I couldn't get a coffee refill to save my life even after asking waitress! I tip accordingly

It’s a diner. My wife’s Western omelette was good (and big), although they put the potatoes inside, so be aware of that.

The waitress said the fish dinner is popular, and the menu said “lightly breaded” so I gave it a try. Well, it was probably 5 parts breading to 1 part fish. Oily, wet breading 1/2-3/8” thick on several relatively small walleye filets. I set aside a small mountain of greasy breading as I ate, but the fries and slaw were good so I didn’t go home hungry. Not sure who would ever order that twice, but to each their own, I guess.

I’d say stick to breakfast here.

Me and my boyfriend have been coming once a week and we love it, they’re quick and food is always good and not high priced either. All the bad comments I feel like you all went to a different place then us, or you made them mad 👀

Love this place. Great food. So nostalgic. My family has been meeting and eating here for 4 generations. Don't forget the pie.

I believe that if you are a regular here, the service is much better than if you are an outsider. Food is nothing special, the diner is not very clean. Pie is good, that's the reason it gets 2 stars instead of 1.

The food portions seem larger. The French toast looked amazing and kept my quiet for a few minutes.
The breakfast burrito is amazing and my 7 year old Godson loved the kids cheese pizza and fries.
My omelette was perfect and service top-notch and friendly!

I was very disappointed 😞. There was dead bugs on the ledges. And the help were busy but they were not helpful. Was there over a hour for eggs. Than had to ask for silverware. Than jelly and a straw. And forever we waited for the bill. Tables emptied and were not clean for over 1/2 hour. Than just picked up not wiped. But the food was good. Bit on the cold side

Walleye fish and chips. They were out of cod and I was disappointed at first, but that was as good a meal, for as good a price as you can get. I personally prefer my chips cooked s bit more, but most would have been happy.
Its a local cafe, don't look for some fancy decor, but you can't eat decor, and you usually have to pay for it.

I had my husband's surprise birthday party here. Unfortunately the food wasn't as good as I remembered it to be - but we had a great server- and the food came out quickly.
