Goodale's Bakery & Deli

We’ve been visiting Goodales for over 40 years and it keeps getting better. Traditional donuts done perfectly. Best pasties in the lower peninsula. BBQ pork is a favorite.

A large variety of deli meats and cheeses, as well as breads, desserts, and pasties (and hot soup). My mom- who doesn't like white chocolate or crumbly cookies- loved their super soft lemon white chocolate cookie! My sister loves their cinnamon bread (number one reason why we went). If anything, if recommend those and their soups and cheeses!

Needed a place for a quick morning snack, read the reviews and decided to try it. Not too hard to find. Prices are good and donuts are very yummy. The orange juice donut was unique and tasted great! Their homemade custard is also very good.

Awesome staff and a great selection of donuts and baked goods. Highly recommended!

Wonderful service, amazing food, great diversity of what is offered. From the deli to the pastries everything that is served tastes as though it is home cooked in my great grandmothers kitchen.

If you go here you must try the macaroni and cheese it is to die for!

Absolutely love this place, we make a point to stop every time we're in the area. The elephant ears are amazing, and they always put fresh frosting and sprinkles on a donut for our son. The owner and staff are so friendly! I would give them 100 stars if I could!

Best pasties and donuts!!!

We were there several years ago and had a nice experience. The food was good from what I remember. We went there this past weekend and it made me not want to go back.
Not friendly or inviting at all. Each person behind the counter seemed very angry and not wanting to help customers. The space was very congested as well. I gave it 2 stars because the food was still good, but the service was a one star at best.

My son and I stopped by on our way up to the hunting cabin, got some great lunch meat and cheese (the white cheddar with horseradish was a surprising hit), and on a whim strolled down to the donut case where came upon the sour cream dunkers as I call them. I bought a nice bagful and truthfully, everybody who tried them said they were the best they've ever had, and I can't disagree. Goodale's rocks!

Best bakery around I always stop there on my way to traverse city and on my way out going home.
