Goodale's Bakery & Deli

It is the very best bakery I have ever known. They have the most softest rolls I have ever tasted and they are delicious. Also I am a huge macaroon fan and they have these cherry macaroons that are heavenly. They have a deli and also have homemade hot foods. If you are ever in Grayling Mi. you have to stop by. You'll be sorry if you don't!!

Everything is so fresh and homemade. You can taste the love to and passion with every bite.

Right from the moment you walk in the door and smell the yumminess they've been creating since early am up to the moment you take your last bite, it's a delicious experience you will want to create family traditions around. Save this one in your navigator, add their number to your stored contacts and share this bakery name/location with all of your close friends and family to enjoy!! We Love our local bakery!

They had good stuff and friendly staff.

I love their elephant ears, but the past three times I have visited in the middle of the week the elephant ears have been hard and stale. The young clerk did not know if they were fresh. The turnover my husband bought was also stale and he threw most of it away. Nothing was marked as “day old.” We bought an apple pie last week as well, and it was delicious. The pies are always fresh, but we’re giving up on the pastries until we’re sure they haven’t been sitting in the case for more than a day.

A great place for freshly homemade baked goods. The staff is kind and jovial, almost like family. The prices on some items may be more than you might expect, but most of their goods are pretty reasonable. (This is a hand made, small town bakery after all.) I know a few people who won't buy bread or other baked goods from anywhere else.

Love stopping here and getting a chicken pasty with gravy.

So we're the maple frosted cinnamon rolls. The staff were very friendly also. Certainly worth a return visit :-).

The pasties are amazing! Stopping in again on our way out of town to take some back home with us. Actually we make it a point to always stop for the baked good and I must say that I haven’t had a single thing that I did not love. Everything from fresh baked donuts to icy fountain pops to a nice selection at the deli counter to hot homemade foods and soups ready to eat. Highly recommend a stop if you’re in town.
