Really, really, long wait for coffee. Which wasn’t really worth it. The prices aren’t bad, and they use actual syrup rather than essential oils or some BS, so I’ll give them that. Seems to be a hot spot for college students. Like that it’s 24 hours so that’s a bonus. Good place if it’s late and you want better coffee than McDonald’s. Probably wouldn’t come here to get a coffee during the day with all the other local options in GR.

This has been my favorite coffee house for a long time (since it opened). However, I went in today at about 2:30pm, and the service and drink I ordered were terrible. To be fair, I think the barista is new and learning his job, but he was overly chatty with customers, and took an extremely long time to serve them. It was finally my turn at about 2:50, and the barista didn't even know how to make a plain latte with steamed milk. It was just horrible - watery, and very little flavor of any kind. I finally got the drink at about 3:00. At 3:15, he's still chatting up a customer who walked in behind me, and asking him to fix the drink would take way too long. I gave it three stars out of respect for the previous trips I've made with great service and excellent coffee drinks.

Brooding college students and old dudes too square to be hip. Looks like an accountant's office after the '29 crash. Mrs. Robinson ran out the backdoor and leave your "friends" at home! This place is cooler than a polar bear's toenails and equal parts of arm hair! The occasional drunk sailor may show up and listen to your piano while you pound out everyone's destined life in demonstrational version of Dantes Inferno in E minor! Stay home on the wicked Winter's Eve and play with your Keurig cups!

This is a groovy coffee shop ok? This is not your grandma's joint no, this is the real deal. The vibe of the shop is classy, and the baristo was drip. The coffee was decent. For some reason the wifi was bad though, so when I went to work on my laptop at midnight I couldn't get much done.

I visited the Bitter End Coffee House in Grand Rapids, MI, with members of the Kalamazoo Go Club. The West Michigan Go Club meets here every Sunday, so we had the pleasant opportunity to play with new people. Warm and cozy place with a friendly atmosphere. Baristas get the coffee exactly how you like it. Useful parking lot across the road. I liked the big red coffee mugs.

Great vibe, super interesting decor, literally the tastiest smoothie I've had in the entire city AND they're open 24 hours a day which is great for people with weird schedules like me. Love it.

The place can be very busy and seating is cramped, but the beverages are good and it's one of few places you can count on to be open any time, day & night. Also, plenty of outlets and the place has a good coffee house ambiance.
