Great little college coffee house. It was late on a Saturday night when I had a craving for an iced mocha. Of course Starbucks was closed luckily Bitter End Coffee House was able to deliver.
When I got there, I was greeted by chess players and framed pictures. It was cozy, I think I found a hangout spot when I have nothing to do late at night.

Was in GR for the weekend. Didn't get to the Hyatt Place downtown until 8 pm and every other coffee shop nearby was closed. Couldn't believe our luck that there was a 24 hr coffee shop less than 2 miles away! We went here a few times during our stay and got various lattes, chai tea and fruit bubble tea. There are SO MANY great drinks to choose from. Very hip and located in a unique space with a lot of character. (It apparently used to be a very old bank?) Definitely worth checking out if you are in the area.

Local coffee and local appreciation. Great coffee, wifi, and owner conversation. Fun little old bank building to have a coffee and do some emails while traveling for work. Keep up the great local business!

Friendly baristas, great atmosphere, and awesome place to study day or night. Lattes tend to be quite sweet, but I love sweet so that isn’t an issue for me. Prices are great for the quality you recieve!
Internet connection has never been a problem for me here. People chat, but the noise level has never been an issue for studying or reading here. One of my favorite places in town. They learn your name and make sure that you feel welcome. I can’t recommend them enough!
Ask for a pumpkin chai latte, it’s my personal favorite.

Visited this coffee shop on Saturday night while out with my family and this place is great. Cozy little shop, mainly for college students but very welcoming to anyone. The chai tea latte was great, the decor was the magnificent. Today, when everyone is on the run, this place takes you back to a time long lost when you could just sit and enjoy the evening. Definitely going back to try a coffee this time.

This place has a lovely atmosphere and has good hours for studying and socializing, and the prices are fair, but unfortunately it leaves a lot to be desired in terms of coffee.
I appreciate the ethical sourcing of the beans, but the espresso is overroasted by contemporary third-wave standards, and the espresso shots are pulled long. Mine was served in a coffee mug, and although it was pulled very long it still tasted over extracted and was basically undrinkable.

I love this place and always have. I've been coming here for over 10 years since I went to Grand Valley. I also think this would be the best place to break up with someone, based on the name alone.
Great coffee drinks and a great atmosphere whether you are there to study, work or meet with friends or potential breakups

It was a bit crowded and we had to wait in line a little bit before getting to the counter... But my beverage was good and we had a great time. I also really appreciate that it's open 24 hours because by the time my friends and I left it was midnight.
This is definitely a coffee place that a lot of college students come to.

I like the staff and environment, plus it's 24hrs so that's always good. Ever flowing Coffee!
The coffee was good and had a balance of roasts mostly earthy but have fruitier choices too. They roast inhouse and provide a variety of blends offered through drip brew method, in addition to the variety of espresso based drinks.

The Bitter End is A coffee house that is open 24 hours a day, making it an ideal location to study, or to have a coffee and start the day after a long night out on the town. Located right by Grand Valley State University, it is an ideal place to stop by to get your morning fix before class. They have novels to read in case you forgot to bring your own, and a selection of boardgames to play if you are looking for some group fun. In addition to selling coffee by the cup, they also have beans you can take home, and assorted snacks like bagels and chips.
The decor and atmosphere is reminiscent of the 90's, and has a comforting nostalgic vibe to it. If you are looking for a good latte to enjoy whether it's morning or night, you've found it.
