Good gumbo and beignets. The man working inside was friendly and outgoing, hard to find that kind of customer experience nowadays. He says he makes it with Willies sausage from down the road, pretty cool!

Only tried the beignets, but they were good! I want to try the OG beignets to compare them so this is my amateur opinion lol. Also the man at the standalone shop (where the store strip is) is a straight up gem. 10/10. That guy is so sweet I just wanna hug em.

I went 05/20/21 around 7pm so whoever you are, you're awesome!! Haha

We were so surprised by how fresh and good the beignets were! Almost as good as Cafe Du They make the dough in advance, but fry them to order so they are always fresh. Would return a million times.

A bit pricey on the beignet side, but to be expected for the location and quality. Coffee was fantastic and surprisingly well priced. That raspberry cream dip will bring me back haha.

I've made homemade beignets for the past 25 years. This place does them right. They fry them up to order. (Never get them from a place that has them sitting precooked.) They were perfectly done. Our order was quite a bit heavy on the powdered sugar. They had various spots for the beignets which was an interesting addition. The chocolate reminded me a bit of "Pain au Chocolat", which was very nice.

This place is absolutely the best thing about Frankenmuth!! Terry the owner was fantastic! The beignets were great with a ton a powdered sugar... just like they’re supposed to have! I’ve drove up twice just to go to this place. Will be back again soon!!

When I visited Frankenmuth with my mom, we had to try this place out, especially since I had heard from friends that just visited New Orleans and tasted Beignets and went on and on about them.
So we go inside, it's a cute cafe. The owner was working and we got 3 beignets and he said, I'll throw another one in, so there isn't any fighting. We sat down and man there was a lot of powdered sugar, lol...it was everywhere. But they were hot and fresh and so delicious. I took the two extra home and ate them when I walked in the door, lol, guess I didn't want to wait.
Then I went back to Frankenmuth with my husband, and I told him about it and told him we had to go here. He obliged and wanted to sit and eat them there. Again, the same owner was working and he said the same thing, and we got four beignets for the price of three. We both ate two, at that time, and enjoyed every second of it. My coat and lips were covered in powdered sugar, both times. Hahaha. Give it a try, they are light, and airy, but at the same time doughy and crispy. Hard to describe, but not like a donut, definitely not like a donut, so don't go in here expecting it to be a donut. Very friendly as well, the owner made small talk with us about UofM and Ann Arbor, after we told him that was where we were from. Very nice, we will be back.

Was so excited to try these! Google said hours were 10-7 on Sunday. I even waited in my hotel room an hour before checkout to try. Got there at 10:05 and no indication if opening. Super bummed. Maybe update hours on the website?

I turned down the Beignets in NOLA and grabbed a few of these. Delicious. And the guy behind the counter was super friendly. Freshly made!
