N'Orlins Beignets & Coffee

The beignets were mushy and hollow inside. Was extremely disappointed since they smelled so good. I’m glad I asked for a plastic to ho bag to carry them in. The paper bags were soaked in grease. Sadly, I was talked into getting a dozen since it was $5 more.

Gumbo in Michigan? Beignets? Yup! And very well done, too! If you're in the River Shoppes, try this place!

Fresh hot 'BenYays' covered in powder sugar and a dipping sauce if you need it sweeter.

I literally crave the beignets 24/7 from this place, they’re so good. Just two of them can make you full, and I definitely suggest trying them on a cold day.

Priced very well too, I’ve gotten hot chocolate there before, but have yet to try the other items !!

I don’t come down to Frankenmuth very often but my mom had given me a hand full of gift cards to Frankenmuth and a coupon for N’orlins so I stopped in yesterday. The coupon I was given had a coupon for free beignet with purchase of hot drink on one side and a dozen beignets advertised for 12.99 , it must of been older because the price is higher now , they said they would honor it so I decided to get a dozen (they didn’t honor it but I didn’t really care it was only an extra 2/3 bucks not a big deal so far) until I was waiting for my beignets and one of the girls came over and said can you ask your mom where you got it it looks copied. HOW RUDE !! I just don’t have words other than how absolutely rude. This was the store in River place.

Service was excellent. Perhaps a bit pushy on the upsell, but we had just eaten and were bursting at the seams. The beignets were okay-needed to be fried a bit longer and they weren't as thick and airy as what I'm accustomed to. Definitely not close to those of Nola. The dips were good! Glad we checked it out, at least.

Friendly service. They made my coffee just how I asked for. The beignets were just ok. Expensive for my taste but it is a tourist place, like a theme park so it's understandable. The patio had tables and chairs and nice flowers and things to take pictures with.

There is a lot of good quality food there. The beignets are very good. The service is very nice and quick. I enjoyed the people who I ordered from. The gumbo is good, of course not like New Orleans gumbo, but good nonetheless.

Their beignets are crazy messy with powdered sugar, but the pillowy deliciousness and the warm freshness make them so worth it. Their coffees are as wonderful to look at as they are tasty. They have such friendly, helpful staff, it's always a joy to visit when I'm at River Place in Frankemmuth.

Must stop by here! Beignets are fantastic and the service is wonderful. Stumbled on this stop in this fun little Bavarian village. Loved it! :)
