If you want food that looks the same for every customer, portions that leave your stomach growling, meat that you can't identify & service that makes you feel like a number then YOU'RE IN THE WRONG PLACE!
The Sidestreet Deli is a gem, twinkling in the heart of quaint downtown Charlotte. Come try one of their huge, overfilled, "can't open your mouth big enough to take a bite" specialty sandwiches & (though you probably won't have room in your belly) pair it with any of the homemade soups or sides.
You will not be disappointed!

Been here multiple times and each time the different sandwiches seem to keep getting better and better. The service is good, the food is great, highly recommend coming here for food

Just went today and that place is the bomb! Boars head is the only type of lunch meat I will eat because it is such good quality. You have to look for the directions though or you'll miss it. Only three tables inside and a picnic table outside but staff is great and food is better!

A real hidden gem. Just a small deli on a side street with a couple tables. What it has is fantastic food. If you need lunch this is where to stop.
Update: wow check out the new shop! Looks fantastic

Average food at above average prices. After reading the great reviews about this place I was fairly disappointed in the food. I ordered the corned beef & Swiss which comes on rye bread and has honey mustard on it. I also got a bowl of the potato bacon soup and a slice of mint mocha cheeesecake. The sammie was of average quality. The beef was excellent which is really the most important part right? The size was a little bigger then your average supermarket loaf, so if you want quantity over quality this probably isn’t your place. The soup was the most disappointing part of the meal. The pieces of potato and bacon were sizeable and looked really appealing at first glance however the potatoes were undercooked and even tasted like they hadn’t been thoroughly scrubbed beforehand. The cheesecake was also a healthy size but more appetising exponentially. I will admit this was my first time there and I’m always willing to give a place a 2nd chance so upon my next visit I will change my rating should the meal warrant it.

Also please realize that there are only a couple tables inside so the eating in is a huge gamble. I was also disappointed in the price. I bought 2x of my above order for myself and my partner. The tab was about $40 after the tip. I’m not above paying that to eat out but as of right now I don’t believe this place was worth it. My gf, also trying this for the first time agreed with my review.

This is authentic deli food. If your tastes lean more exotic than Subway, Pot Belly or Jimmy John's would will be pleased. Dining area is very small though, better to plan take out during rush hour.

Food is amazing! Sandwich is big enough for 2 meals for the average person. I wish they had a location in Eaton Rapids as well.
