This is a great little place to stop in for a nice variety of sandwiches, soups and bakery items. I actually failed to take photos of the food but did get some of the interior. The place is split into a bakery side and the deli side. They have separate check out registers, but I think they are owned by the same entity/person. The food is in the ~$10 range for the various sandwiches for the most part. The bakery side is between $2.50-$3 per item.

We got the chicken salad sandwich on french bread, which I would not do again as it was a bit hard for the sandwich. The chicken salad is made of real chicken and will be like you made it at home. We also got "The Kramer", which was amazing. The bread was some type of cheese bread and the inside was very tasty with enough sauce and meat. I would look at the menu for more details on the sandwiches. We did do a combo with the chicken salad which was supposed to be half a sandwich and a cup of soup, which we tried to seafood gumbo. The gumbo was flavorful but spicy, so be warned.

We also tried to of the turnovers. One was the apple and the other was cherry. The cherry needed a bit more filling but the apple was just right.

If you want a more homemade experience when going out, this place is worth your time.

As a little girls outting with my 2 youngest daughters we decided to enjoy some sweets at Sidestreets. The desserts were absolutely delicious! We got the raspberry fruit tart, lemon meringue cheesecake, triple chocolate cupcake, trash can cookie and a lemon bar. None of us were disappointed at all! I can't wait to try more things!

Went for deli sandwiches, we grabbed two sandwiches with chips, coleslaw and Italian wedding soup. I had the guido and hubby has roast beef and turkey. They were delish!!! I really enjoyed the baked goods too, wasn't crazy about the cannoli as the filling tasted grittier than I'm used to and the shell was crispy. However, the chocolate bavarian filled eclair and carrot cake cupcake were tasty. The frosting on the cupcake was so sweet, I had to just eat the cupcake part lol. Can't wait to return and try more goodies, hoping they have a napoleon next time.

What a gem! Everything from their customer service, to their sandwiches, soup, and baked goods were wonderful. We will definitely return when back in the area. I had the Becky's Club on cheese bread with a bowl of potato bacon soup, and then split a piece of turtle cheesecake with my son. We both said it was the best cheesecake we've ever tasted (and we've had a LOT of cheesecake). Took another piece and some eclairs to go. Nice job, Sidestreets!

This little place has a ton to offer!! Just as their sign says!! You walk in and our greeted to a cute little seating area with a fountain, on your left you'll walk up and see a beautifully stocked display case full of a different variety of freshly baked yummy goods and pastries. And on the right side of the store is where their deli cold case is located. It's full of different variety of salads, meats, cheese's and other cold snacks and drinks! Their menu is easy to see and displayed on a digital board and all of the staff members are extremely polite!! So please stop in and support them, you won't be sorry!!

Very tasty sandwiches and fresh ingredients. Everything I've tried here has been good and I'm always glad I stopped here instead of settling for a fast food place. Much much better and about the same money. Today, I had the NY Reuben and it was delicious, however, I think if the sauerkraut was drained and the bread was toasted it would be legendary and people would come from miles around for it. Very good nonetheless.

This little gem in Charlotte is honestly they best quality food the town has to offer! It's a casual sandwich shop and bakery and while it's is just a lunch stop it also has the best quality food. The sandwichs and bread are amazing my only complaints is it's way too cold in here for the dead of winter I'd lingering more and buy more snacks if I could think in the cold. I'll definitely be back so happy to find this place after my move here!

Quaint little deli in Charlotte. Visited at their new location on Cochran. Turkey sandwich and cucumber & tomato salad were my choices and there were both yummy. Variety of breads, meats, cheeses & toppings to choose from so you can create your own or select one of their own creations. They offer a variety of sides and have a bakery counter serving treats & coffees. Definitely a nice place to pick for a light lunch!

Everything was absolutely amazing! We live about 30 miles from Charlotte, but we will be making many more trips to this incredible bakery.

They have some fantastic pastries! I've had the cupcakes as well which are good but the pastries are awesome!
