Jaho Coffee Roaster & Wine Bar

Stopped in briefly to get something to eat and a drink. Cute little café down by the wharf in Downtown Salem. The atmosphere has a sense of being someone's home which is nice. It had been a while since I had been in, there were some new furniture that had been placed.

Then there is the employee only area, which is a table and couch space. I'm not sure how long it had been there, it's probably been a couple of years since my last visit. I just found it a little odd, even off-putting, considering it's on an elevated section of the café. Hey, whatever, it's not my café.

Grabbed a mochachino, which was very nice. Bacon egg and cheese on a wheat bagel was okay. Service was fairly fast, but then again there wasn't a whole lot of customers. Staff seemed pleasant.

I’ve always found it to be friendly service with baristas that take the time (when it’s not crushingly busy) to do latte art.
It’s one of the best places in MA for a double espresso which tastes just like it does in Italy.
Their Boston Chinatown location is one of the best looking coffee shops I’ve ever been to!

Coffee is on point. Tastes so good and the pastries are fresh and crispy, cannot complain about it. At the same time, the team was not very professional. I would love to see more connection between them since some of them didn’t really know what they are doing. But overall, I would recommend it and I would visit again

Matcha latte aren't made properly, you will be very disappointed. Not even served in a cup when you take it to stay on place.

I ordered the green tea boba and it was incredibly good. The flavor is matcha-like and extremely delicious. Besides the pricing, this is probably the best cafe is Salem!

Whenever I'm in the mood for a good latte, this is my go-to spot. My favorite latte is the Spanish latte (the one of the top in the picture). It's the perfect balance of subtle sweet flavor and creaminess with the rich espresso taste.

The other and more important reason I visit Jaho often is their bubble tea. It's the best spot on the North Shore. Their bubble tea comes in four different flavors - green tea, taro, coconut and thai. They also have mango which isn't on the menu board but they have it usually if you ask. I either get the Green Tea - Mango or Taro. Both are great options.

The staff here are friendly and service is quick! I also love the atmosphere and the variety of seating options. It's a fun place to hangout with friends, read or even get some work done! So why only four stars? The pricing. It's quite expensive relative to other coffee shops in the area so that keeps me from coming as often as I would! But every now and then, totally worth it!
