Muffin House Cafe

I have been visiting this Muffin House location for about two years now, and wow I have been loving the experience. Whatever I'm in the mood for upon entering, the muffin girls (sometimes a dude or two) are ALWAYS so friendly and happy to serve me. Even with the busy traffic flow that often comes through, everyone is in tip-top shape and do their jobs amazingly behind the counter! Even with Covid, everything has remained clean and organized.

The baked goods and coffee are amazing. They make everything fresh, and you can smell how good it is when you walk through the door. Their service is exceptional, and will guarantee that you are satisfied. On one occasion they got our order wrong and gave us a $15 dollar gift certificate after correcting it as an apology. They keep their customers happy and coming back.

I've only been once but I had a pretty good muffin. I've had better but it was good. It's a nice cozy place to enjoy a pastry, but the coffee was just ok. They serve Red Barn coffee which is good coffee, certainly better than New England brand by far. Unfortunately the cup I got was luke warm and tasted pretty old. I'm not picky about temperature if it's a little off, but this was more than a little. I would try going again because maybe this was just a one off thing that happened

Edit: came here again and all 3 items I ordered were wrong. Buffalo chicken wrap had no lettuce/tomato instead of just changing blue cheese to ranch. Cold brew coffee was iced coffee instead. Caramel chocolate brownie was a heath bar caramel brownie instead. All items tasted great anyways and I would gladly come back again. Staff looked busy and they were super nice so I'm not angry...mistakes happen. Just be aware if they're super busy to spell things out clearly. Doesn't help having masks on!

It was busy as could be there on a Saturday morning @ ard 9 am but the staff moved people right along nicely. The coffee was good & hot & the bagel sandwich came fairly quickly & was delivered to me at the table I was sitting at! And the blueberry muffin was to die for. It was so moist & full of blueberries! It was a pleasant experience to say the least!

Thoroughly enjoyed the decor, the tea I ordered. The muffins looked delicious, but I resisted the temptation for the sake of my car. This place was busy but not crowded, efficient and quite pleasant as a team. I have worked in coffee shops, so I can appreciate the attention to detail I observed during my brief visit.

Diet buster! I was visiting the area this week and decided to drop in for coffee after seeing the business going down the road. I ended up visiting each day, and once, twice in the same day. The muffins are absolutely awesome and the speciality coffees are delicious. The staff is super friendly and the location feels festive. The best thing about the Muffin House, free coffee refills on specialty coffees! I try to review all the places I go to and this is the first time I've given five stars to a business. This location just opened up on Jan 19th so it's a little chaotic at times but well worth the madness.

Delicious hand made sandwiches and pastries. Superb staff. A bit pricey but well worth the money.

Really disappointed! We came in and were the second group in line. The couple in front of us ordered and the young girl behind the counter came over, asked them if they were all set (they said they were) and then proceeded to ignore us. We waited for about 5 mins while she did NOTHING behind the counter. Her 2 coworkers were busy preparing orders and she just walked around ignoring us. It appears the shop is being run by teenagers without a lead person, and it’s not a good look when these people can’t offer basic customer service. A simple “I’ll be right with you” would have sufficed.

At this point we left. But I would hope some basic customer service retraining comes into place when management reads this review. We were eager to try TMH for the first time but now I don’t know if we will be back.

Very clean and very organized. It's great for a pick up or eat in. The staff is very swift and food always correct. Sandwiches to muffins & pastries, even an area for cakes and wedding foods. It has decent seating with 15+ tables. A nice mom & pop store.

If I could give the zero stars I would. I went there today for a cake. I paid $32 for a cake from the case. It was completely inedible. Tasted some of the frosting on the side it tasted like it had been in the freezer for months uncovered. We didn’t even cut it. Completely disgusted. In addition to that when you pay, it comes up on the screen to leave a tip. When I clicked no (I didn’t think putting a cake in a box, a standard bakery task, warranted a tip) the girl walked off went on the back room and didn’t even finish the transaction to give me a receipt. Definitely will never set foot in there again and will not recommend them ever.
