The Dam Cafe

I would give this place 4-5 stars if it wasn’t for the extremely rude blonde woman at the counter. Very rude at first taking my order didn’t let it phase me, went back after getting my order was about to ask for a coffee to go, instead of asking me if I need something she states “what do you want now?” With an awful attitude. So I didn’t get the coffee and left.
It truly saddens me to see great local businesses hire such horrible staff.

Great study spot for coffee and lunches!

I am soo beyond happy I stopped by today on my lunch break! I have heard nothing but great reviews from customers and employees! I work up the street on Whiting Farms Road at Gary Rome Hyundai. Unfortunately I am surrounded by Fast Food restaurants and a horrible Dunkin Donuts I get my morning coffee at... I ordered the Fat Jack on Ciabatta Bread. The Sandwich was absolutely phenomenal! And to my surprise, the Potato Chips that come with the sandwich are made fresh as well! I also ordered the Tasty Turtle Latte and a $1 Apple Cider donut to go, which I am enjoying right now at my desk! I will now be visiting the lovely staff regularly for my coffee in the morning! And I can't wait to bring my girlfriend this Sunday for Brunch!

I really like to eat at a local restaurant. The corned beef sandwiches, Ruben, Marshall are my favorites. The quality of corned beef however varies greatly. Sometimes the large amount of fat in the meat is just left in the sandwich. Apparently no trimming off of excess fat is done. Absolutely repulsive. Somedays they slice it nicely thin. Most Sundays it is like big chunks of fatty inedible meat. Hoping they read this and fix it. I am having real difficulty going back.

My wife and I absolutely love the dam Cafe. Our favorite. Is the gingerbread lattes. I get an iced latte. She gets a hot latte. And of course we have our favorite waitress. But can never remember her name.

Good food, full menu, easy to get just what I want, not greasy or overdone, polite service, amazing baked goods. Would like to have been offered real maple syrup, but food was great both times I've been there.

Have been here for both breakfast and lunch recently and both visits have been nothing short of amazing. The food is insanely good and the service is friendly and super quick. I recommend "The Marshall" sandwich or. You wont be disappointed here no matter what

The place is small and Quite, but the food is really good and they're pretty fast. Good portion sizes too. We love it.

Great burger! Fries were overdone and not salty. Frozen drink was too chunky.
