The Dam Cafe

I must give credit, the dam is in a great location, it's the only breakfast/ lunch place to grab something quick. But, this place seriously needs a cook. Not someone who thinks they can cook, or says they are a cook, just because they worked at a school cafeteria, or they cook for their kids at home. It's not the same. Quality is alright I guess but it's not impressive. And who wants to eat soggy unsalted potatoes chips? I think there is room for improvement because the service is great: Warm, inviting, kind, and helpful faces. But I don't give my money for that. I'm willing to change my review on the future. But until then. It's the same old same old.

First time going there ordered the cuban sandwich for lunch it was delicious. The place is very nice inside will go again😋

Pretty nice place! There were no prices listed on my visit, not sure if that's normal or not. But the staff was nice and it felt nice to be there!

The front casheier was very friendly and greeted me with a smile. I got a breakfast sandwich and an iced coffee. It took a decent amount of time for my sandwich to come out, but the bacon was amazing.

Solid corn muffins..... crispy & generous servings of butter on the side. Quick service. Obviously a favorite with locals but great from out of town too. If you want a standing desk, the tables are at the perfect height to do work.

Only because my date stood me up and I was waiting in that small dirt parking lot for 30 mins with no response is why i gave it 1 star. With that being said it looked like a great place to eat and have a good time or take a date there. I'd say definitely give it a try of you're looking for a new place to go

Great foods and service. Never had a bad experience.

My experience was ok at best yes they give you a lot of food but I perfer quality over quantity. I had the dam dunk my eggs was burnt my toast was ends you know the parts you don't eat and then I got a huge glob of butter on it. my potatoes were still raw in the middle my wife potatoes were burnt we also had pan cakes they gave you this small cup of syrup that don't even cover a whole pancake I had to ask for more. Also service is sporadic some times they deliver food to table or they call you to pick up your food at the front table. And I dint see anyone come to wipe tables between tables and pattrons I believe that this place has potential to be really good but not deserving of the 4 5 stars that it is rated at.

I only got a watermelon smoothie, but it was delicious. The staff are SO nice! I messed up my order -- I assumed it was all fruit and didn't think to ask if there was milk. Completely my error, but she remade it with oat milk anyway! And it was stunningly good. I'm eager to return and try more
