Superior! It was a pretty elusive location but it’s very cool inside it looks like it used to be a warehouse 👀
Food and atmosphere were awesome; they forgot to make my friends smoothie in the kitchen so we were blessed with a complementary meal 😊 great customer service!

We went here in March 2023. The food was amazing, but the service was the worst I've ever experienced. Some of our food never arrived, and the food that did arrive took over an hour. They didnt bring the table's food all at once. Other tables had customers who completely finished their meal and were waiting for the other people at the table to recieve their meal. They only had one runner, so food was forgotten and just sitting getting cold. :( I went to the barista to inquire about the food (two different plates) we'd never received, and there were other customers that had just come in for coffee that had also been waiting an hour - for COFFEE. The food was amazing, but their delivery system was horrendous. Nobody working there seemed to know what was going on.

Visiting the area and decided to try this place. We had the lox toast and buttermilk waffles along with coffee cake and coffee. Was unexpectedly amazing setup, vibe, food and service!

First time here over the weekend. Went here after I missed hotel breakfast. Decent menu you can customize as well, you can also order & pay on your phone which was nice. I got coffee cake & a mocha. Mocha was okay and the coffee cake was delicious.

I will say I like Kaldis, but there is this taller girl (probably 5’9) who’s selling people watered down hookah. Imagine paying $60 for a hookah that tastes like straight water. Then I thought maybe the flavor I picked was bad. I paid her another $20 to change the flavor/add mint. and AND STILL TASTED LIKE WATER. That's when I realized she just wasn't putting enough flavor in the hookah. Like come on. Give people what they paid for. Basically paid $80 for a hookah that tasted like NOTHING. I love buying from black own business but yall gotta respect black people's hard earned money and give people satisfaction for their money. Not putting enough flavor in the hookah is just making me not get hookah from Kaldis anymore and go elsewhere. Such a bad experience. Bad service is just gonna push loyal customers away. The worst hookah I’ve ever ever had.

Went here during a day party which was hosted upstairs. The drinks are on the higher side($20 per drink), they also have food & hookah. The music was good, played all types of genres. Our bartender Coco was super sweet.

Went here on a Sunday. It was moderately packed. They have different seating options such as couches, small tables, etc. I liked the vibe, similar to Starbucks. The mango black tea was so good! I got the sandwich with the vegan sausage, and it was lacking in flavor for me. I've heard the coffee is really good, but I don't drink coffee. Maybe I'll come back and try a pastry because they looked good.

I've been to Kaldi's to dine in and take out several times and have not been disappointed! I live in the Brightwood area of NW DC, about 5 minutes from downtown Silver Spring so I would come often. Pre-pandemic, I would order a coffee and sometimes food and do some work for a few hours. It has a lot of comfortable seating but the addition of outlets (maybe in the ground) would be helpful. I've also come a few times for a quick coffee or to pick up a BEC. The service is usually prompt and the coffee is a delight. The BEC has the best pork bacon and is honestly my favorite BEC sandwich ever. I've never come to Kaldi's in the evening for the parties but if/when it does re-open for that I would definitely like to check it out. A great Black-owned spot to support in the DMV. The pics are the BEC, avocado toast and the omelette with tons of meat in it (can't remember the name of it).
Update, 11/25/2022: Kaldi's rarely does me wrong. I stopped in for an early lunch while my car was getting serviced at dc line auto, just down the street. Great service and food per usual. Great place to get some work done or hang out and read. Delicious sandwich and salad.

Great coffee and great food! I had the Cortado with Oat Milk and the Bravo Avocado toast. Both were great and presentation was top knot but! My crew and I will most certainly come back and try other menu items!

Kaldi's is a quant spot great for individuals to meet up for breakfast or lunch or get away from the monotony of working from home. The staff there are pleasant and food is wonderful.
