Very neat breakfast and coffee place! When we first walked in, we were a little confused at the set up, but a staff member easily directed us. You order at the cash register and then they bring your food to you. The line to order was pretty long but went by really fast. The coffee and food were pretty delicious. Would recommend the ultimate breakfast sandwich.

This place is really amazing. Very nice staff. The breakfast/ food menu is off the hook and creative. Great vibe. We take our two year old on the weekend for a nice stroll, coffee and breakfast. Lots of vegetarian/ vegan and gluten free options as well. Really wonderful place.

Kaldi's is a hidden gem. The coffee drinks, food and atmosphere are all outstanding. It is our go-to place when we are in Downtown Silver Spring and want to sit and enjoy a coffee and light bite, though they have an excellent food menu as well.
It is often crowded, so if you go, you may have to wait for your beverage, food and a seat. You will find a seat long before your order (including coffee) is ready, so don't worry if it seems full. It's worth the visit.

Love the ambience. The waffles and Turkish bowl is delicious. The iced chai is also very good. Going on a Saturday at 11AM and it won't be extremely crowded. It's also affordable! I wish I took some photos because the presentation was beautiful. When I get hungry, I want to eat! So definitely check out Kaldi's Social House Silver Spring the next time you want brunch!

Excellent coffee and great atmosphere. Have been here several times and am always looking forward to coming back. The French toast and their skillet breakfasts are delicious. Tried the smoked salmon toast today for the first time and it was PHENOMENAL. Staff is always welcoming and friendly.

Couldn't get a table. There is no fair system. The fastest person gets the table and staff could care less.

Rude service, and they made my son seriously ill with waffles they claimed were “gluten-free” but were clearly full of wheat flour, which he is very allergic to. When we asked for help, the servers just insisted they were gluten free and walked away. Don’t bother with this place.

Seems like a nice big airy space for eating in. But for takeout or a quick coffee to go this is a place to pass on, unless you have an extra 20-25 minutes to wait while the friendly but unhurried staff VERY leisurely ring up and complete people’s orders. Don’t be deceived if there’s no one in line when you arrive—they may well still be working on orders placed by customers who have long since sat down.
