Love this place. We come all the time. It's literally the only coffee shop I've encountered that has macadamia milk, which is by far the best. They have the best lattes, lots of different varieties and seasonal menus with really delicious options! Super dog friendly, and people friendly š.

We love Coffee Republic! Itās just a couple blocks from our house and is extremely welcoming. The baristas always seem happy to greet me, my pup, and my daughter. The drinks are delicious and the space is relaxing. Whenever Iām planning coffee with friends, I suggest this place.

Best baristas in the area by a long shot. Great neighborhood feel, warm welcome and wonderful people working behind the counter. Insider tip: get your coffee and sit in the park directly opposite the cafe!

I absolutely love this coffee house. The staff are friendly, patient and efficient. The cafe is eclectic and cozy. Several of the staff greet me by name when I arrive - itās a bit like Cheers. š

This place has had a change in management about a year ago, and it shows (Sarah, great work!!)! I've become a regular, going almost daily, and getting coffee and pastries for 4+ members of my family. I love all their drinks, but absolutely love their Sugar Daddy, In Bloom and Bees Knees. The pastries are usually great, especially the muffins and croissants. The baristas are GREAT (shout-out to Sam, Taz and Sophia, my favorite peeps!), very nice, friendly, professional, kind and knowledgeable. They move as fast as they can, especially when the place is super crowded - I've never had to wait more than 3 minutes for my order. I've also had the pleasure of speaking to Sarah, the new manager, and she's awesome - on the day I spoke to her, she was there washing dishes, which I've never seen any store manager do. She's very involved and devoted to the success of the place, so I know the business is in good hands.
Suggestions for improvement: update the website, including the menu on ordering apps such as Odeko, and coordinate/link rewards programs (e.g. Coffee Republic has its own rewards program, different from the one through Odeko, but the Coffee Republic rewards are better and can only be obtained by going in person into the store). Also - and I know they are considering this - the place would benefit from an expansion. It's already quite popular and gets a little crowded at times, and the bar is a very small place. The definitely need 3-4 baristas there most times just to keep up with demand, but the poor staff barely have room to move when they're all there.
I'll be a loyal customer as long as I live in the area, and I'll spread the word! We need more high-quality independent coffee shops around here! Keep up the good work, guys!

I live over an hour away, and never pass up a chance to stop here when I'm in the area. They always have cute unique signature and seasonal drinks and it has such good vibes. My favorite coffee shop I've found anywhere!

With friends spread all over the DMV, we are often searching for new places to try within 25 miles of our residences. First time for us here. The staff were nice; our drinks and pastries were good... Small business is definitely where itās at with food and drinks! Unfortunately, they closed early (reported online open until 7 pm, but around 625 pm, they reported theyāre closing in 5 minutes) so it was a little bummer as Iām not familiar with the neighborhood and had to find another place to hangout for a bit longer. They had board games and a decent area to sit so Iād recommend hanging out there again but not go after work (as a meeting place to catch up), in the winter, in case they close early againā¦

My favorite cafe spot to get some studying or simply relax, chill and read in a pleasant atmosphere. Coffee Republicās vibe is warm and welcoming in no small part to their great staff. Special shoutouts to Sam and Sarah who directly contribute to the cafeās vibrance. Oh and the coffee is great too. Avid consumer of their almo milk lattes and espresso shots - can vouch for the tastiness of both of those menu options šš¼

This is my pick for best coffee shop in Northern Rockville if not all of Gaithersburg, Rockville, and Bethesda. The baristas are always pleasant, friendly, helpful, knowledgeable, and expedient. It clearly has a fun culture with a wholesome atmosphere. There are plenty of good tables and options for seating, though it can get busy at times. The quality of the coffee is solid. While it isn't a roaster, it does have a partnership with one. The variety and creativity of options for espresso drinks put other shops to shame, and if it's tea you're looking for, they have a good selection of that, as well. The pastries (both sweet and savory) are solid, too. Finally, and I know this is minor, but it offers various American brew methods (pour over, French press, etc.) on the menu. I know some coffee shops will do something other than drip brew if you ask, but I always feel like a bother asking when it's not on the menu. It's not in the most convenient location in the area, but I think it's definitely worth going out of your way for. It's in a more residential part of Rockville somewhat removed from the commercial spots, but that also gives it a neighborhood coffee shop feel that I really appreciate. And there's plenty of free parking.
