Canoe On the Run

Our favorite place to eat in the Deep Creek Area for breakfast & lunch. We've driven out from Cumberland just to eat lunch here, it's worth the trip!

Great espresso. Love the chilli omelet! Amazing view - that enormous orange tree deserves painted by a skilled artist.

Quaint sandwich shop in a tourist area, only bad thing to say is with Covid looming they haven't adapted their indoor seating for the fall/winter season ( no seating available)

Take out order prearranged and ready on arrival. Pleasant and quick service.
Everything was tempting.

Canoe has a nice selection of sandwiches, wraps, and salads. It has a cozy atmosphere and is a nice place to stop after the lake or after being on the mountain!

Good coffee, but they ran out of regular coffee twice when I was there. Had to wait for them to brew more. How does that happen in a coffee shop???

Pretty location, nice outdoor dining space, but extremely slow service. Food was fine, nothing special.

We enjoyed coffee and sandwiches with a great view of the outdoors. Great deck available for fair weather seating.

Great coffee and breakfast treats. They also serve sandwiches, etc., wine and beer. Great staff and location.

This is such a cool and funky little place. Out of the hustle and bustle area of the lake. Great food, good selection in Friendly personnel.
