If you're looking for a clean, rustic restaurant with a beautiful view of the hillside. This is the place to be. If you're looking for a nice strong cup of joe and a hearty meal, this is DEFINITELY the place to be. Personal favorite, this glorious breakfast sandwich. 😍

Solid spot for coffee and breakfast. The line does get long due to ordering at the counter (no table service) but it moves, and staff is very nice. Baked goods are delicious - get the chocolate turtle cookie if available. They even wrapped each half of my breakfast burrito to-go!

Good food, good service. I like the focaccia bread a lot! The mocha blended ice coffee is very creamy and refreshing!

This is a a great place to stop for a coffee and pastries. The staff was very nice and food was good.

Stopped here for brunch and had two of their sandwiches and a red velvet cookie. I wasn't really impressed with their sandwiches which was a standard cold cut without toasting or special interesting flavors. The cookie tasted like a sugar cookie and was hard. Edible with outside seating and friendly servers.

I used to legitimately love this place. Would make special stops off-route to visit — great food, good environment — not anymore.

Food was okay, but staff were insanely rude. They had signs up for no indoor seating, etc. I’m guessing COVID or staffing issues — that’s fine — so they forced people outside — again, fine.

However, pay for some umbrellas for your tables so people don’t bake in the sun all day— you can afford them with your 17 West Elm boxes sitting inside — drive 3 miles to Lowes and grab some.

Also — I get you’re “to-go” and sit outside — but declining us an extra plate for our 1 year old, and not having a high chair is a little extreme.

Happy to revise when you guys fix this. Severely disappointment.

It's always difficult to give out 4 or 5 star reviews because the scale is quite small and a 2 or 3,while more accurate, give the connotation that its not a good restaurant. So scale and location in mind I think 4 stars represents the thoughtful and unique dishes offered here. The food is presented nicely, portions are good and the atmosphere is relaxed. Covid has done this restaurant no favors. Compared to most restaurants in the area that take the diner menu approach and offer quantity over quality Canoe on the Run is worth stopping for.

The food is good and the servers were very nice. It was very cold outside and after ordering our food we had to be out in the cold. They have an indoor seating but they have it closed.

Had a great breakfast here. Everything was great.

Very poorly managed. They took our orders & payment very quickly and then proceeded to make us wait 40 minutes for two very mediocre iced coffees. If the kitchen was so short-staffed, they should have stopped taking orders or at least given us a refund. Very disappointed.
