I probably have the lowest standards for food of anyone I know, and this place was sub-par at absolute best. I got the Huevos Hamcheros and it was basically microwaved eggs in a wrap covered in salsa water. Definitely do not recommend.

Great all around sandwich joint. Easy walking dostance from downtown Portland.
Service is good as well as the variety of different soups, chowders and sandwich options.

It’s surprisingly hard to find a veggie/pescatarian friendly sandwich in Portland but The Works delivered. The man who took our order/made the sandwiches was rude but the sandwiches are very good and made quickly.

The Autumn Harvest grain bowl is my favorite lunch in Portland.

Finally a place with excellent brewed coffee that doesn't cost a fortune! And $1 for refills! Friendly front end folks, and the food smells amazing... I need to try a breakfast sandwich today. :-)

Open 6am 7 days a week, great for travelers trying to get an early start. Good coffee and bagels, spacious interior, Wi-Fi, good pricing..early morning oasis in Portland.

The Bagel I had was delicious and loaded with cream cheese! Quick service and nice ambiance.

Great selection of coffee drinks, breakfast foods and juice smoothies. Want gluten free or vegan? They've got you covered. Pleasant staff, too.

I eat here pretty often because it's close to my office and the food is pretty good. Order online and it's ready when you get there.

Bar-none, one of the best breakfast sandwiches in the city. Add on the early open time, and this place is amazing. I'd venture to say that five stars isn't enough.
