This might be a 5 star if I went earlier in the day, but it was almost closing time. I got a toasted bagel with cream cheese that cooled so fast enough that it was just a cold brick of cream cheese. I appreciate the cream cheese generosity, but it wasn't doing it for me this time. Other than that, pretty good and I'm willing to give them another chance.

I got the vegan harvest bowl and it was delicious! I also got a bagel with tofu veggie cream cheese and it was very good

Great food and tasty coffee. I has a quinoa bowl and a latte and would definitely order each of them again. It’s somewhat removed from the wharf so I didn’t see many tourists in the morning. It’s a great local spot.

My egg sami was … well I barely ate it. It’s like 1/4 of an egg 🫠🫠🫠😂

We went here for breakfast on a Sunday morning. Portland has a surprising lack of breakfast places in downtown and Old Port. Food was good. I expected beans and/or rice in my breakfast burrito but got sweet potatoes instead (not on the menu and not a standard burrito ingredient) which was really surprising. Lots of people waiting around for orders. Apparently the food was ready but just sat there. Took 20 minutes to get our food. They need better systems so 20 people aren't standing around waiting for food right up next to people who are seated and eating. Put in a separate take out window for mobile orders.

I don’t know if I got unlucky or this place is a mess. 10-15 people came in after us and got their food first, we didn’t order anything complicated. 2 of the 4 orders were made wrong, my son’s mac and cheese was cold and it was the smallest sandwich I’ve ever gotten. Food was good, terrible experience.

Seeds on sesame bagels can break teeth. Plan on waiting 20 minutes for your order to be bagged. Approximately 15 people waiting for their orders to be bagged

Walk by here all the time but finally stopped in for the Portland Iced Coffee challenge. The outside doesn't stand out but inside is beautiful and cozy, I'd definitely be back to dine in or do some work at. The sunrise burrito was great with fresh ingredients from local farms. This reminds me of a much stepped up local version of a Panera bread.

I hate writing this bc I have loved this place, but today I found a glove burried in my 8oz tub of cream cheese that I bought a few days earlier from doordash. I've tried calling several times with no answer. It's disgusting finding something like that in something you're eating 😒

Been going to The Works in both Concord, NH & now Portland, ME seems to be same high quality accross locations. Excellent breakfast wraps.
