waited more than ten (10) minutes before finally stopping a waitress to follow-up on our drink order.

waited thirty (30) minutes for entrees to arrive.

Overall, not our first visit.... but most likely our last due to poor reception and service.

Went for sister in law's BD. Called 3 hours earlier and they had a table ready for 14. Everyone had great food from uncles eating Keto, to kids who got grilled cheese, brother in law had the chicken fried ribeye, I had the beef skillet (Mac and cheese, broccoli, and beef tips.... yum). Had the onion rings, cheese logs, and boudin dip appetizers. Service was amazing and they let us reserve slices of their amazing chocolate cake when we walked in! We've been here several times, it's always good. Also recommend the Shrimp Nancy but honestly have never had a bad meal here. We'll be back soon!

ABSOLUTELY HORRIBLE!! Traveled 45 miles to eat there fir my dads birthday. NEVER NEVER NEVER AGAIN!! 9/18/22

Great Service! Awesome food, the best Chargrilled oysters I’ve ever had, huge. Nice rustic atmosphere. Decent beer selection. Food came fairly quick despite the other reviews I’ve read. Will definitely be coming back.

Great Cajun food restaurant. I love their fried shrimp and fish combo. I also recommend you try their sweet potato fries, so good!

Food was good , long Island tea yeah right

The appetizers were excellent. Out waitress did a good job providing us the meals but my wife fish was not cooked in the middle and the edges were burnt. Unfortunately, the management did not provide us with the care of giving his attention on this matter. So, as usual, they put this burden on our waitress. Waitress says they were TOO busy to hear our complaint. We wanted this address so they can improve as to how we wanted our fish to be cooked right. Their salad NEEDS to improve. Basic lettuce does not do this type of food justice. Please upgrade or improve in the quality of the salad. We had a table of 17 people, and management did not have time to hear our voice. That was ashamed. Came from Houston Texas to enjoy this Mel with friends and a couple even did not eat their fish either. Look at the plate and see what was left in them and see where you, Not Your Mama's cafe, can make changes or improvements.

I came here an hour early before they were going to close but they had their doors locked already! I understand people want to go home but as your job you have to follow the rules. It was only four people in the restaurant and they took FOREVER! The waiter wasn't very pleasant it seemed like everybody were ready to go home. The fried green tomatoes were good my entree was okay but the lack of good customer service made me give this place a 1 star wont be coming back for a second chance.

Restaurant was not busy and no one came to take or order. We waited over 20 min before flagging someone down. Then waited 1hr 15 min for food. Food was overly salty, Cajun fries soaked with grease, very disappointed. Service was terrible. Waitress could have cared less about getting food or drinks. Had to go to the front to ask for drinks. 4 people sitting at counter and 2 standing. Very displeased

Food was good. Price was up somewhat from what I expected. We could have had 1 plate & divided the cost. We had to do "take outs" Food was delicious!
