My husband and I are often patrons of this establishment. However, the dining experience tonight was absolutely disgusting, unpleasant and unprofessional. We were not properly seated nor given the same respect and dignity as others of "Non-color" patrons who were already dining. Our server was absolutely disrespectful and appeared she had a very nasty attitude. We just left a few moments ago and we will NEVER return. Cultural Competency!

OMG! This rustic, countrified gem is on Hwy. 190. I would have missed it if it wasn't recommended to me by a friend. I live 35 miles away, but one look at the menu, let me know that I would be visiting many times. The food was absolutely delicious without being too spicy. The waitresses were courteous and attentive. It's family owned and SOMEBODY in the kitchen sure can cook. The portions were ample and I enjoyed the experience totally. It's decorated like an old country store and the dining atmosphere was casual and comforting. I recommend this restaurant wholeheartedly.

It was my very first visit and they were out of a long list of things... including food items, carbonation for the soda, etc.. It looks like a decent enough place on the exterior and once inside. I will give this restaraunt another try in the near future in hope of a better experience.

Our first time eating here and we were very disappointed. The fried shrimp and fish was horrible. No seasoning, fried soft (I like crispy fish) the shrimp was flimsy. The cheese they use is very thick and rubbery. I see why they are looking for cooks because whoever was cooking this weekend needs to be fired.

Stopped at this place at the beginning of the dinner shift. Best decision I’ve made along 190 in a long time.
Fish was fresh, portions were plentiful. When they brought out one handmade yeast roll, i was wondering why....but when I bit into it, I understood! You’ll want more and it will spoil your dinner. They’re fantastic.
Our waiter Michael was attentive and polite. I’ll be back to try the dessert next time- but I’ll need another stomach to help me 😂

4lbs of steamed crab we waited for only for it to smell like it had passed its fresh point and gone bad. Tried this place 3 times over the span of a couple months and everytime there was something off.

My husband and I arrived at 7:00, and the first thing we were told was that they closed at 8:00 when we walked in.
We ordered the boudin dip which tasted like the meat had been microwaved. We could not finish eating it. I ordered a glass of white wine which arrived warm. Then the crawfish on our catfish meal were bad. As we were waiting for our check, we heard waitresses loudly complaining about people arriving at 7:40. Their website states they are open until 9:00 on Sundays. If this is not the case, it needs to be updated.
We were disappointed and will not be back.

Very neat place. Enjoyed reading all the signs. Food was fresh and very tasty. Service was on point as well. We did not have an empty glass until we left and they made sure we were good 3 times during our meal. We have a bunkhouse in Livonia for work so I will definitely be back.
