If you’re driving through, keep driving through. If you’re staying in the area then consider eating here if you have nothing else to do. The front house staff is super nice but the kitchen is infernally slow. Order appetizers if you want to be out in an hour. We waited over an hour for our entrees. Our toddler was ready to leave before our food even arrived. We had to ask for boxes to take it to go because we still had a 3.5 hour drive to Shreveport. I’d rate this place 1 star if not for the front house staff.

Service is really slow. For the price it should have been a lot better.

I had the best meal here on Mother’s Day. Other than the high prices and the amount of food you get for it, I really enjoyed myself. The atmosphere was relaxed and the wait staff were very attentive even though very busy. The food was soooooo amazing! The cocktails were good although not enough alcohol LOL. The fried gator was my favorite but it was all good.

This place is really good! I always enjoy eating here. The food is good and the portions are good too. The prices are what you should expect for seafood. They have a seafood platter that my wife and I share because its just so much food and we still end up bringing food home. When we have other things off the menu we still end up not being able to fit dessert but it's sure delicious to try :)

I always come here after traveling back from New Orleans. I get the same chicken parmigiana every time, I absolutely love it.

Today, the owner paid for my meal (unbeknownst to me) while I was in my USAF uniform. It almost brought tears to my eyes because it couldn’t have come at a better time. Thank you! Love the food and atmosphere.

Came in tonight with 5 adults and my 8 year old son. Less than 20 tables full in the entire restaurant with one large group that came in after us. Took about 20 minutes to get drinks, another 10-15 for our one appetizer and we finally left after being there for an hour and a half without getting our food or beer order. The large table that came in after us had all of their orders about 20 minutes before we left. Won’t be back!

Not Ya Mamas is my fave restaurant. If I could I would eat here every day! The food is fantastic. I love their homemade bread and bread puddings.

Went for Valentine. The food is usually good but this was an off day -had to send appetizer back and the food was lackluster but will try again.

We drove 1.5 hours to eat here because we always pass by it going to south Louisiana. We were excited and thought it was going to be great. We were seated and waisted 1.5 hours for our main course to be done. Do not get the crawfish nachos, the chips are chewy and over cooked. I got a REALLY good salad in a cat dish bowl. The entree I got was the crawfish pasta with cream sauce. I understand why they are called not your mamas because my mom is such a better cook than this place. This place was not Louisiana food. They had no spice or seasoning. We didn’t finish our food when we left. My partners entree was the cat fish Sarah, the roux was burned and tasted bad.
