Lussi Brown Coffee Bar

Drinks are decent but customer services is lacking. Staff seems disinterested in making customers feel welcomed and treat them like a burden. Judging by the responses to other reviews on here, the owner gets upset with feedback so I'm sure nothing will change. I'll take my business elsewhere.

Flavor selection was nice, but after tasting latte it was bland and had too much milk.

Great coffe and the waffle drizzled with lemon honey is a great way to start your day!

Fun place for coffee and snacks. There are a few tables outside with plants 👍🏻

Solid spot to have great coffee and get some work done. Wifi access and just a wonderful vibe. Highly recommended.

Not going into lots of detail, but the low rating was given because:

A) The wait time was too long. There were 2 staff members but it still took 15+ minutes to finish my order and my friends' order. One of these orders being a drip coffee. There were no other customers in the store at our time of ordering.

B) Originally I selected a boozy drink from the breakfast menu, but was told alcohol could not be served yet do to it being the morning time. Okay, fine, I ordered something else. A few minutes go by, I'm waiting for my order. Somebody comes into the store and hands a Thermos to a staff member, they immediately fill it up and ask if he wants Bailey's (or some other alcohol creamer) added in and he says yes.

From this experience on September 9th, the 1-star review is warranted in my opinion due to a long wait time for new customers and then preferential treatment towards friends of the staff or regulars. It was not a welcoming visit.

The coffee here is SO GOOD. 10/10 I definitely recommend coming here. The coffee is so smooth with none of those bitter spikes that happen. The staff was super friendly. I will definitely be going here again.

The ice coffee I bought was amazing, with a little chocolate and cayenne. It was not super sweet like fancy coffee drinks often are. The ambience was cute, with plants in all of the windows and flyers for drag shows and bike events.

Best coffee shop in KY, no doubt about it. Super queer friendly, delicious and unique coffee/drink flavors that I can’t find anywhere else, love the aesthetic of the place, and just love the extremely friendly vibe. Sarah is an amazing barista and bartender who will do anything to adjusts her drinks to the taste preferences of others. I’ve yet to go to any coffee place in Lexington or Louisville as good as Lussi Brown Coffee Bar 💕

Quite the hidden little gem. My friend and I were walking downtown when we stumbled upon this quaint little coffee bar. So glad we found it. Great coffee and friendly service. Their menu selection was creative and fun. Can't wait to go back to try more.
