Highly recommend, the coffee is exceptional and the mixed brews are just as good! Highly recommend the cold brew old fashion.

Decent coffee but if you bring kids with you as you grab a drink to go you will rudely be told to leave immediately after you’ve already paid.

Great quaint coffee bar on a side street in downtown Lex. It was relatively quiet when we were visiting on a Friday night but we made ourselves at home with the extra seating in the back. The barista brought our drinks and they were the perfect temperature for drinking right when we received them. Nothing worse than having to wait 20 minutes for coffee to cool before drinking it! The chai latte was delicious and my friends enjoyed their latte and hot chocolate. Look forward to visiting again in the future!

Chill, lay back, and vibe to the smooth sounds and intimate atmosphere of the cool that is Lussi Brown. The name is a combination of the owners last name, and is imbibed with all the comfort of a chic little getaway in the city. I loved their special of the season the Southern Charm as well as the S'more drink. Highly recommended for great service and sweet warmth on a cold night.

The barista (the tall thin one with short dark hair) is the rudest individual that I have ever encountered in the "service industry", and I am not being dramatic when I state this. With that said, the original person who took our order was SUPER nice and welcoming. However, our experience went immediately downhill from there.

After we ordered, a group of our friends happened to walk in and we all started chatting in the front area of the coffee house while
we all waited on drinks. No other customers walked in during this time, and we were not blocking anyone from coming in. After our friends left, the two of us wanted to enjoy our coffee. We were told to either leave or find seating because standing up front was against county regulations. This was not stated in a polite manner. The barista was rude and argumentative. We couldn't understand, we were the only two people inside the coffee house. How could standing in the corner be against county regs?

What added to the shock was, when we walked out, a local person was walking by, and said that they have been treated poorly here as well.

Please don't support this establishment, customers should NEVER be treated this way.

Excellent coffee. I've been to practically every local coffee shop in Louisville and Lexington, so I can say with confidence that this is one of the best places to grab coffee. I don't normally get the boozy drinks; but I can say that the cold brew old fashion has a nice unique taste. My wife really loves the blood orange espresso--which I also second. And the waffles and whip of the week are also worth it.

The atmosphere is very relaxed and welcoming, too. I highly recommend it.

I moved to Lexington, Kentucky from the Dallas area in Texas and finding a new local coffee spot felt important to me. I've been to several coffee shops since my husband and I moved, but I can say without a doubt that Lussi Brown Coffee Bar is my favorite coffee shop to stop in. It has a wonderful, inclusive atmosphere, the staff is always friendly and helpful with recommendations, and depending on what I'm in the mood for, I can order a boozy or regular coffee. 10/10 would recommend. I tell all my Texas friends to come here when they visit. ❤️

Delish mocha. Nice nook in the back. My sister liked it and she's picky about coffee.

One of the tiniest and coolest coffee houses I've had the pleasure of visiting. The Carmel espresso drink here was amazing. I would recommend it to anyone who enjoys a light sweet taste added to their espresso shot drinks.

Good coffee. Unbelievably rude and unhappy employee!
Dropped in this morning, and the miserable person behind the counter (tall, thin, short brown hair) needs be relieved of her duties immediately. If she's the owner, she needs to leave the customer service side of the biz to other employees that are actually capable of putting a smile on their face. She really tried hard to ruin my day. Fortunately, she didn't succeed, but I hope I ruined hers.
