Great Bagel & Bakery

Been coming here for years and now live three hours away. I used to love to be able to call ahead on my way into town to pick up order. Was so easy and efficient. Can't do it anymore... Kinda of hard to place order online while driving on the parkway with no internet connection. Don't be fooled into going to other locations where their bagels are sold...they are NOT fresh. Admitted to me by an honest employee. This longtime customer will not be back.

One of the best local places in Lexington. Delicious food, fresh and the staff there is second to none. Their hard work and dedication to their customers is known the moment you walk through the door. We are lucky to have them in town!!!

First time interesting food was great

This place is awesome. The have some of the best bagels I've ever had and a great selection of breakfast or lunch foods. Coffee and drinks are also good. They can be busy on the weekend or when UK is in session so there may be a line. They take call ahead orders though if you're in a rush or need to feed a larger group.

$18 and change for lox "plate" and bagel and an Arnold Palmer. An unassembled pile of fixings (cream cheese, lox, onion, tomato etc.) in a box with a bagel. If I wanted a DIY bagel I would have bought all the stuff myself and put it together at home. Plus, the ingredients were about enough to do a half a bagel. I guess I really need to start lowering my expectations.

Quick service, great options, and soft, chewy bagels.

They also have Oatly as a non-dairy option, which is great. It was busy when we came in, but we didn't have to wait long at all. Our sandwiches were awesome, and our drinks were great too.

I went to get a bagel with just egg and cheese only with salt and pepper. The guy on the grille grab the wrong bagel requested toasted the bagel after I asked for not toasted. He then looked back at the order and realized he grabbed the wrong bagel so went back to get the right one. (I knew at this point he wasn't paying attention) I get my order and drive off. As I bite into the 1st half of my sandwich the taste of salt is different from the taste of plan salt . I think to myself well they cook everything on the same grille,so I eat more. As I'm almost done with the first half I stop b/c the taste is overwhelming of some meat. I have been a vegetarian for over 25 yrs. The guy on the grille put sausage on my sandwich. I now have to drive back on my lunch to make this aware to them. The young lady that put my order in did it correctly, the guy cooking clearly DID NOT read anything on the screen . This will be the last time I ever will go the this place. A refund is not ok for this mistake.

I love this place! Every Saturday morning my roommate and I would get bagels (may I recommend the french toast, American). The coffee is okay, but I go there for the environment. Get the window seat and you can get some serious work done!

This place gets super busy but they have it down. The bagels are on point. I always get the American breakfast sandwich. It's always fresh, fast, and consistent. The staff is friendly and efficient.
