Living in Lexington and being from NJ and my husband from NY it was great to find a place that reminded us of home. We have been going here nearly every Sunday for 3 years. We’ve always been pleased with the food and the service, until this morning. The bagels were different: smaller, darker, and not as flavorful as they were. My order was made wrong so my husband went up to the counter and spoke to one of the ladies working. He said that my bagel was toasted and he ordered it not toasted. She looked at the receipt and repeated what it said: berry bagel w/ cream cheese not toasted. My husband said “yes but it’s dark and hard as a rock.” So the lady asks another worker to remake my bagel not toasted w/ cream cheese. She hands it to my husband. He says “Thank you. Sorry about that”, and she replies “It’s ok.” Not one single apology came out of her mouth. She was reluctant to admit that it was possible one of the line cooks made my bagel wrong and she made it seem like my husband was the problem. To top it off, our son looks forward to going there and always devours his bagels, but not this time. He barely ate any of it. Between the recent change in the recipe of the bagels leading them to taste horrible as well as the poor service we will sadly not be returning. Such a disappointment.

Good breakfast bagels, fast line. The bagels could be better texture if they were more crispy, probably best to get there early.

I've had both breakfast and lunch at Great Bagel and enjoy both! The staff are always incredibly friendly and the food is AMAZING! The prices are fair for what they are, too. The only thing they could improve on is the environment-the interior is clean, but you can tell it has been a while since they did any major work such as fresh paint or new blinds.

Great Bagel was my absolute favorite spot when I lived in Lexington. I moved away a couple of years ago and was so excited to visit GB again. Unfortunately, the new bagels are nothing like the old ones. Very disappointing. I do wish them the best!

Great food! Zero complaints but beware if you use door dash it's about $2 extra per item.
The portions I think are perfect I usually save half for later. Also the smoked salmon / lox is super good (not that cheaper super fishy taste).

Way tooooo expensive! I got 1 breakfast sandwich and it was $10!

I came here on a weekday morning around 9 a.m. There wasno line and there were several people eating inside. I ordered a garlic, asiago, French toast, and maple bourbon bagel. I also ordered a maple bourbon cream cheese. The worker was very nice and very helpful. He offered to put the garlic bagel in a separate bag without me asking. From what I understand this is good because it has a pretty strong smell and could have affected the taste of the other Bagels. All of the bagels were really good and I really enjoyed them however, I did not get a maple bourbon Bagel. I'm pretty sure I got a plain or maybe a wheat bagel. Because it definitely had no Maple or bourbon taste and just tasted like a regular Bagel. So I'm docking a star for that. Luckily the bagels are only a dollar a piece so it's not a big deal. I will definitely be back to try the other flavors. Especially the maple bourbon.

I am so sad that they switched to wheat flour. I understand that it's healthier, but if I'm feeling health-conscious... I don't eat bagels.
If they ever return to normal bagel flour, I will eat all the bagels.

Oh my goodness. So much energy to keep up with the crowd of customers. So lively, and I really didn't stand in line long for a busy Saturday. Seemed like it was a popular spot for college folk. Local art for sale on the walls. This super cool instant orange juice machine fun to watch and then to drink the result was heaven in my mouth (and now, I'm craving it). Plenty of bagel options and so many choices of spreads and sandwiches.

The Everything bagel tasted like Jesus Christ himself made it and served it to me while I was being fanned by gods in a paradise island. Beware, these bagels take over your life. You may never be the same. Monday & Tuesday's are terrible because I cannot get my Jesus made everything bagel. See you Wednesday.
