Great Bagel & Bakery

This business is adding things to your charges without your knowledge. No one asked at checkout to add a charge for their employees insurance or time off. Be different if was asked but to just charge a customer for something without their knowledge is just wrong and should be illegal. I will be disputing with credit card company not because of amount but because of principal. Will no longer visit here. See Pixs of receipt.

Nice litte joint with great bagels, sandwiches and lunch items!

Great coffee. I had the banana bread, loved it. My friends commented on how good the bagels were.

Great food, great service, great environment. Proven in Lex for yrs, its nice seeing them add another location on this side of town. I had the “omelette” on an Everything bagel, add jalapeños, they use fresh, not pickled. It was really good, and added a kick.

This place leaves a lot to be desired. First off I am by no means not a coffee connoisseur, and am disappointed regularly with coffee due to my need for a sweet creamy nutty delight😔!! I also like to eat (as it’s evident 🫠 in my stature)! If you like meat don’t get the bacon it is convented here as the most prized possession (on Sméagol’s level) “my precious”!! 🥓💍 I do absolutely love that they put two delicious buttery eggs 🪺 on these never well done bagels!! I wish this establishment would use some form of sauce to pull you out of the Sahara desert you will find your mouth trapped in, luckily they can’t seem to serve a beverage to save one’s life!!
To conclude their drinks are terrible, their sandwiches are dry and over priced, the customer service is lack luster, they couldn’t care if you came in or never set foot inside, it was grossly overpriced

Oh, my goodness! These bagels are delicious and unlike any other bagel I've ever encountered. The bagel itself is delicious on its own. As we struggled to make up our minds, the employees were all really friendly and patient with us.

I have been supremely disappointed in Great Bagel several times. I used to go regularly but recent visits have made me decide to never go back. If want a gluten free bagel, do not go to Great Bagel. My experience was as follows: I went Saturday morning and they happened to be quite busy. The line was long so I went to ask if they had gluten free bagels before waiting 10 minutes in line to order. They said they did. So my partner and I waited in line and ordered. We waited 20+ minutes for the food. We check on the food after some time (the cashier warned us it would be a while, which was much appreciated) only to find out that someone had just taken our order AND it was the very last gluten free bagel. Waiting 30 minutes to get food after paying and then not getting the order was frustrating to say the least (!!!). They asked how they could make it right. We said a gift card because they had no gluten free bagels. She said they could refund our order and what could they do when things are so busy? Well, I have lots of responses to that. But with how they handled it, I’m just going To say I’m never going back. They failed miserably today.

The shop was quiet and empty, which was nice. The bagel was…not enjoyable. It was hard and flavorless. The worker who took my order was impatient and seemed annoyed to be there. Not for me.
