I hate to criticize, especially when it's a small business. Despite this, I had a remarkably bad experience. I visited Revocup for the first time today and was first struck by the lack of ambience. The walls were almost bare, the tables and chairs were cheap, and the lobby was filled with Christian music being played at an annoyingly high volume. This doesn't always correlate to bad coffee so I remained hopeful. As I browsed the varieties of beans and asked the employee about the espresso they use, I was given very brief, rude responses as though I had no idea what I was talking about. My drink was made and that's when I lost all hope. The latte had very coarse foam complemented by some tiger striping (sometimes indicative of grinding too fine). The foam was bitter and the drink tasted horrible overall. There was little body, as the coffee relied almost solely on over-roasting. I choked down the rest of my drink only to find a generous helping of coffee grinds in the bottom of my cup (also indicative of grinding too fine). I'm not sure if I came on a bad day or if this over-roasted, overextracted nightmare is a daily problem here. I would suggest choosing a different spot if you'd like nicer staff, more ambience, and MUCH better coffee.

A great coffee experience. The espresso is beyond delicious. It's an Ethiopian, and it is not roasted to the point of charcoal. Delicious, full-bodied, and that marvelous African bean undertone.

Great vibe and relaxing. The barista was personable, knowledgeable, and added to the experience.

I have been a die-hard Scooter's coffee drinker for a long time. But Revocup at 135th is my new coffee shop. Not only do they keep all the flavors I love year-round, but they are friendly, fast, and make better coffee than the chains at a good price.

We had our Red Door Group Client Event there off 135th and Quivira. The owner Michael Johnson was there and he was such a pleasure to meet. Our coffee, ice tea and hot chocolate we all enjoyed was delicious! The barista was terrific and took great care of our clients and the other people we met there. I highly recommend this local owned small business.

I've lived nearby this place for a long while but never thought to go in. I've now been 5 times and each time I have a great experience! I love the atmosphere (even with slightly hard seats) and the employees always have a good recommendation for me since I never know what to get. Overall I would definitely recommend coming here!

Go here. Order the Italian cappuccino. You will love it. You will be back the next day. And everyday after. So good it’s addicting.

Best coffee shop in OP. I go there almost everyday. Mike and the crew are always incredibly welcoming. Coffee is always fresh and they will make you pretty much any kind of coffee you want even if it’s not on the menu. (Try the steamed cold brew) Everyone that goes to the Starbucks on 135th should drive past it and go to Revocup.

I was a bit disappointed in this place. My cappuccino was good enough and the proper size, but it wasn’t particular special. I ordered the Italian cappuccino and a small American version. I’m not sure why the distinction. Their Italian version had half and half instead of whole milk. I guess this made it creamier, but I’m not sure it was any more Italian. Having been to Italy, I don’t ever recall having a half and half cap and I had many cappuccinos while there. The American version (aka made with milk) was fine too. What made it American for me though was the size offerings. Any real cappuccino drinker knows espresso drinks come in one size. Offering multiple sizes is what makes it American imo.

I would rate higher but what is really bringing my rating down is the vibe. There was nothing special about or particularly in warm and inviting. It wasn’t not welcoming either. Idk. It was just a little bare and lacking in continuity I guess.

Overall, it’s not a bad spot. My friend and I sat and enjoyed for a good while. But of all the craft coffee shops I’ve visited in my own hometown and wherever I visit, this was one of the least memorable.
