First and last visit to Miltons. We went to Milton’s since a friend recommended it to us so we thought we would give them a try. We walked into the side door which we had no idea was the side door as there was not a sign posted not to use that door. We were greeted by who I assume was the owner. He was very rude to us and asked what we were doing. Obviously we were there to eat but this interaction was not a great first impression. Food was alright and not worth the price. The space is very small and not great for social distancing. While we were settling down from eating, the waiter came to us and said “I just wanted to let you know that we do have a wait so if you could, please hurry up.” We looked around and could not see anyone waiting inside or outside. This was so unprofessional of her to say this to us as we had to wait as well and were paying customers. It doesn’t matter if you have a wait, you don’t rush the customer, the one paying your tip. Not a great first impression and don’t plan on going back.

Lunch here is a real treat! I love the scramble with salmon. Self-serve coffee is the best you'll find anywhere. Service is quick and efficient for the lunch crowd. Call ahead though! Lots of people competing for about 10 outside tables!

Not a true gluten free menu, owner put down the waitress who was absolutely knowledgeable and extremely friendly to compensate for his lack of proper information regarding allergy menu. His menu offers gluten free options but there is not dedicated side for grill or toaster. It should be properly changed to gluten friendly. This can truly harm true Celiacs. Owner was absolutely rude and shook his head at having my order sent back even adding comments to other customers about allergies.

This is one of the worst customer experiences I have ever had at a restaurant. After purchasing 3 drinks each and having lunch on the patio (and continuing to order) the owner told us “you guys are killing us, we have people waiting for over an hour” - to our faces. We were stunned at him being so rude. He then continued to come up to us and say things as we tried to order more. The owner manages to completely screw up a restaurant that would otherwise be decent. Good luck, hopefully new ownership will take over some day!!

I would give this a 0 but there's no place for a 0 and me and 5 other family members went to melt in for breakfast Sunday July 24th 2022 Party of 6 We entered into the Establishment very excited because we It was not aware that it was a block owned establishment so it was very excited we wanted to support the black community well we stood in line Waiting for the waitress to see that the owner Milton came king and address us as how many people were in our party and we're not party and that's all he said he was kind of rude then some white couples came in a party at 3 and then a party of 2 And he sat till now he overlooked us he target around and did not acknowledge us anymore and act like you have talked to one of my white dresses so we kind of got upset and we didn't cause anything or anything and we just proceeded to leave and went to another establishment to eat that was much betthat was much better we were never ever trying to support miltoi'd like to support Milton's cafe I don't care how good the food is being disrespectful to customers is very rude

We had breakfast. Staff were doing a great job. We sat outside right after a spring storm and everything was dry and comfortable. Meal was delicious. I had the Atlantic Florentine Benedict and my girlfriend had the huevos rancheros. Delicious. Perfect.

Love the location of the restaurant, food is decent, coffee is great.

However, the owner makes the atmosphere pretty rude and frustrating to deal with. He’s not welcoming at all, rushes people to order their food, and kicks people out since they have “hour limit” because they have “people waiting in line.” I think he’s just trying to get people in and out to make as much money as he can...which is fine except it ruins the whole experience for me and my friends when we go in.

Also, would not recommend going here to get work done on your computer. They don’t have any outlets and you’re gonna get kicked out after an hour, or if they have a bigger crowd come through.
