This was our first time in here and it was awful. The wait was long so we thought the food was going to be good but, unfortunately it was cold and my husband's glass had lipstick on it... gross 😝

Arrived on a Saturday about 11 o'clock and had about a 30 minute wait for a table. Went by very quickly as it's a busy place and lots to keep you occupied.

Ordered the Mexican hash with eggs over easy and it was very good also had a bloody Mary which was excellent.

Owner was seating people and very personable and enjoyed chatting with him in brief spurts. Waiter was fairly new and and will get the hang of it but had to ask him for salsa and butter for toast.

Glad I tried some place new and will come back

The manager, I presume, ordered us to switch tables in a far from professional manner. (The host asked us to choose a table and we sat at a single top)

Maybe you can learn from your servers how to treat people with respect. If would have asked with respect, I would have understood.

The food is delicious. The service is always professional. This one instance is my only poor experience out of a dozen visits.

Once again trying to support Black Owned Establishments. This establishment is a joke and would recommend stepping foot into this Place. Reasons LISTED BELOW!

1.) Walked into the establishment with my party of 6.
2.) Hostess was about to assist with cleaning an open table
3.) While we waiting another party entered and we’re seated immediately.
4.) The owner seated the party of three and disregarded our party of six.
5.) Motivational DAISY Tee Thompson Amber Dudley saw the disrespect that the Owner displayed.
6.) We proceeded to leave the discriminatory establishment
7.) SPENT MONEY AT Merchants Pub & Plate

Not bad, had eggs over easy, sausage and potatoes. Eggs and sausage were great. Potatoes just so so. Also, no hash browns available. For me that's always a negative.

Underwhelming. This place was busy but didn't seem efficient or able to handle the crowd. After a 20 minute wait, we were seated and then still took some time to get our orders taken. Near the end of our meal, a different server kept asking us if we were almost done saying "Not to rush you, but we have a long wait." Then they offered to pay for our coffees if we would move to a different table so they could more quickly seat a group on the waitlist. Overall, while the service was strange, the food was just okay and not really worth our time or money to return.

I have NO IDEA why ANYONE would give Milton’s an unfavorable review! Two of my friends and I met there for lunch in late July. The inside seating was filled as was the outside patio, however the EXCELLENT owner/manager was most accommodating and gave us a table outside AS SOON as one became available! “Hanna” was incredibly courteous and professional as she gave us time to look over the menu and then brought our choices with little delay. We were TOTALLY SATISFIED with our experience and look forward to meeting there again soon. Thank you to Milton’s owner and staff for a delightful lunch experience!

Been going here semi frequently over the past few years. Pretty good food, but I won't be returning. During my last visit the guy who I am assuming is the owner treated me in a super disrespectful manner for no good reason after a waiter directed my party toward our seat. Thought it might just be a weird misunderstanding until he impetuously doubled down. Pretty absurd interaction. From now on I'll happily spend my money elsewhere.

It has been many years since I have been here. It helped make my gray day a little brighter. The staff was kind, fast, and very attentive. I believe the young ladies name was Jessie. She was awesome. The food was great. The wait staff and cooking staff worked well together. I did not see any one that was self centered by not helping another worker or bad mouthing any other worker behind their back. The only some what negative thing to say is that it was a little crowded. I hope they expand soon to get more room.
